Thanks for the link, but I didnt really find it ‘great’ ( I don’t mean to be disrespect). I found it very vague. I still couldn’t find any reason not to use it. The other suggested alternatives (javascript, images) etc., do not help much in security.

I’m too lazy at the moment, otherwise I would find you 100 links explaining why CAPTCHAs are extremely useful.

Anyway, there’s always good and bad way of implementing something.

Don’t use CPTCHA it’s a usability nightmare – use something like contact form 7 plugin in your WP theme, add a form with a ‘are you human’ mathematical question or something for security.

Its your opinion but in general they help a lot to prevent the spam if built well. reCAPTCHA is extremely useful and very large scale organizations use it to prevent the registration spam.

It is possible for 1001 reasons.

1. Your design is outdated. 2. Your code is bad. 3. You do not follow the WordPress coding standards.

Did reviewer give any specific reason? Do you have the demo of the design so that others can see any perhaps suggest something.

Right, SEO stuff should be done with the plugin, but sometimes you need some basic stuff done. For example, I would like to integrate the Open graph meta in the theme so that when someone shares the post on the facebook or other networks etc, it does not get wrong thumbnail etc.,

Can I include such options in the theme that a user can enable/disable such things? I am asking this question because I’m not sure if according to the new rules its allowed or not?

Are you on Chrome on Windows?

No, Firefox on Win 7.

First relax and then do exactly what the reviewer said, work hard on it.

Your layout design looks messy and dull to me. You need to pay attention to small details. For example look at the logo in your menu, its not aligned well with the rest of the menu items:

You have inconsistent paddings and margins.

Hope it helps.

@djwd: Are you talking about the mojo ? If yes, contact them and they will remove it.

jQuery(document).ready(function(){ jQuery('p:empty').remove(); });
That’s very ugly way to do that. You should use remove those tags in shortcodes properly without messing with WordPress core code.

^^That doesn’t touch the core..

Whilst I admit it’s not the most elegant solution in the world, it certainly does exactly what is required without having to filter the_content output in any way.

Sure, it doesn’t, but I said you can use the code which can do that more efficiently. Why to first make mess and then clean up with extra js code? Why not doing it clean way at first place?
