Hey guys, in terms of creating a theme how many people use a paid font, for example from typekit but display it on the demo?
And then obviously inform users that it will not come with the paid font they’ll have to purchase or use a free library (e.g. google fonts).
Do many people do this?
Recently my theme has been hard reject. I still didn’t get an idea what is wrong in there. Currently I am reworking on slider images. But can you please help me or give me suggestions regarding to my theme.
Make a new thread, don’t hijack others.
You do not need to post the same thread twice within two hours.
I’m afraid it isn’t unique, the main banner at the top is very generic, matching other themes styles. Go through the one page theme category, take a look at some of them and just compare yours to theres. Add something that all the others don’t and make it stand out.
It’s websiteI wait your feedback
You’re rushing, you’re not putting any passion or dedication into your designs. My opinion and I believe others will join me with this is you need to go away from ThemeForest and LEARN web design.
Again this ‘new’ design will be hard rejected. Stop rushing yourself, take your time and think about it .
You may want to include a demo link
your not understand, it’s WIREFRAME, not design. tomorrow I made desgn original, regards.
No he does understand, what he is telling you is that the layout is TOO COMMON. ThemeForest want something unique, they don’t want an entire library with that layout. As said above unless you are a wizard with your design skills and can take that layout and make it better than all the rest it will be hard rejected.
Angryhosting is a great, cheap and reliable hosting company, been with them for a while now and never any problems. Also get a domain through AngryDomains (which is part godaddy).
I entered my username and api key yet I just get a white screen then, any ideas?
And what makes you think that so called “paid modules” would open you the TF door and will let your item to enter?
He didn’t put it across like that. Its frustrating for authors when we go and pay a good $50+ for a license to use a slider or whatever in our theme and it then gets rejected. Especially for any authors starting from scratch meaning they’ll have to purchase this license with their own money and not earnings.
