Personally I cant think of any themes that do this out of the box; you are probably gonna need an additional plugin like visual composer or themify builder etc …

For e-commerce I would suggest a plugin called Woocommerce; for which you will need a woo commerce compatible theme. However, to be able to process payments you may have to buy an SSL certificate

Firebug is super easy to use just install the plugin click on snippet and then hover around; it should show you the HTML/CSS for the items you hover on .

Why not try some quick inline styles?

here are some styled form elements: http://cssdeck.com/labs/css-checkbox-styles

Just based on what you’re saying it seems to be a CSS issue. Have your tried defining the checkbox styles in the css? or have you tried to use something like firebug to try to see what is there in the blank area instead?

I have been thinking of going but is it ok if you are not too experienced? What is it like in general?

Looks much much better !

Though I would still try to introduce more typographic hierarchy by having smaller elements a lighter grey colour? I.e. in the blog section have the author date etc… in a lighter grey; just so not all the elements are competing for attention at the same time :) Otherwise a big improvement !

Please provide more information maybe a sample page so that we can try to help? What plugin if any are you using for the form? where is it?

This may sound obvious but just to throw it out there you sure you are not using the visual editor?

Good advice! Doesn’t seem like the idea would go too far; thats why most of those kinds of websites are real estate websites. I think you need a human being to show you the house and more often then not the real estate agents use various tricks to actually sell you the house …
