Any feedback for design would be helpful. Thank you. http://redshift.kub-it.com/

The entire site seems to have quite a lot of animations however the slider doesn’t, thus it appears to be a bit jerky to me.

The red one: Overall I think it looks really good but the scrolling seems broken, when I scroll on my trackpad it goes all the way to the end, I have to use the navigation menu to get from one section to the next .

The padding on the product section’s paragraphs could be bigger as they are quite close to the edges.

Overall the animation speeds need to be more consistent some hover effects are quicker then others and some scroll effects are quite slow, I would advise that you slow down your however effects a little. Additionally the slider animation seems to be looping which looks odd I think it should only play once.

Also the borders around various buttons seems unequal in size (at least in safari) with them being heavier on the top.

The css could be more organised; perhaps separate out the responsive styles? And I counted way too many fonts try to limit yourself to only 2/3.

Ultimately I think it lacks a baseline grid; the whole layout needs more horizontal and vertical flow; while I can see that you followed a grid at some point too many elements seem out of whack; try to use something like http://keyes.ie/things/baseliner/ to bing more flow;

Also the cut-offs look a bit odd at least to me as my first impression is that something is broken, it took me a good 20 secs to realise that everything is fine. I would recommend you use something like usability hub to conduct some usability studies and if other people feel the same way you should get rid of the feature.

Finally, the site often seems a little crowded to me, I would considering having less text/content at least above the fold; and maybe reduce the intensity of the red.

Well done dude thats much better. A couple of things: first I would change the cover image to something else in my browser that looks like the guys head just has an icon on it straight away and also the read more links in the blog area don’t really look like links? so maybe add an underline or change the colour? and I think the dark background version needs a bit more work; maybe make the blacks a little lighter or the phonts a tiny bit darker just not to have it as contrasty…

But that just me being city picky I think its come a long way now, well done!

Its actually really easy, you can open the file in any basic text editor or even dreamweaver and just substitute the lorem opossum text with your own. However if you want more understanding and control I would recommend that you start with code-academy, they have very clear nicely broken down tutorials.

Overall I would say your design looks good; but if I had to give feedback it would be:

1. Typography, make sure your slider text is more legible by increasing the contrast with the background and deceasing the line-leith; typically you have to make it less then 2-3 lower case alphabets (and while your desgin only has 1-2 line of text in those instances, you never know what the client may end up doing with it).

2. I would also make sure the images of women are a little more consistent, maybe by using a filter and re-sizing a couple so the heads are more equal in size.

3. What sort of grid did you use? at times the design lacked order join my opinion, but idk …

Personally I cant think of any themes that do this out of the box; you are probably gonna need an additional plugin like visual composer or themify builder etc …

For e-commerce I would suggest a plugin called Woocommerce; for which you will need a woo commerce compatible theme. However, to be able to process payments you may have to buy an SSL certificate

Firebug is super easy to use just install the plugin click on snippet and then hover around; it should show you the HTML/CSS for the items you hover on .

Why not try some quick inline styles?

here are some styled form elements: http://cssdeck.com/labs/css-checkbox-styles
