Welcome to TF. Well to chose a template is probably not the easiest task. There are tonnes of awesome templates on here.
I got some interesting templates in my portfolio, mostly musician templates but it can be used for pretty much anything. They are not Wordpress yet. I actually teamed up with another TF author to create WP versions of my templates.
If you want you can check them out.

just bumping this.
Anyone know how to change the camera slider so it does not resize when the window is resized??
Any help would be great
Thanks
Lester
I started doing an includes.js which includes all the js files that load also did the same thing with the css files. I think this way is even better than having all the js and css files exposed.

Hey
Love the flip animation and the theme look nice but i have to agree with PhantasiaEeterna on not being unique. Everyone is hounding the same layout maybe try something different. Also i noticed that there is not enough contrast but thats just my opinion.
All in all it’s nice but i think you need to come up with something that stands out from the other themes.

Hey
Sorry for your troubles mate, honestly a lot of people that buy files do not do good enough research before they buy. So the number one thing buyers should do is research before they buy.
Also if the author is not getting back to you or talking to you with no respect then you have the choice to not buy from them. There are many talented people here. Personally i have never had any problems with either being a buyer or being an author. I always help out my customers to the best of my ability because i want them to come back the next time they are planing to purchase items. I also like to help to make their time more enjoyable and faster with my files when they work on them.
As far as i know support in not mandatory but authors can offer it. As i said man there are lots of fish in the see so don’t get hooked on the first one. Cheers

Hey
I would say dive in to html5 and css3 then jquery. I would do PHP later. There are alot of good tut sites that you can learn from. The main thing is that you enjoy what you doing.
Cheers and good luck
