Had a third entry in soft-rejection, with an update ready to go. I want to give a chance to someone else for the last two spots, how can I abort the submission entirely?

Here’s another one:
http://graphicriver.net/item/hack-and-slash-character-animation-sheet/3483402?WT.ac=new_item&WT.seg_1=new_item&WT.z_author=majd_abdulI’m trying to learn more about what constitutes a good sprite sheet, and plan to update these. I feel my files are lacking compared to some of the awesome stuff others posted here

@contrastblack: I first saw the competition thread about an hour after it went live, so I decided to whip up a file from one of my Flash games quickly. Based on my PC Date Modified I finished the file on 17/11/12 2:58 (in the morning :D), and I got the approved message on 20/11/12 1:29, so it was 4 days.
I guess I just got lucky because I submitted 2 files at the same time and one of them is currently held by the review team. There’s no way really to know how long it’ll take.

@heshan: What you’re describing is how Flash games are made. IMO It’s a much better system than a sprite sheet, but it’s not a sprite sheet.
I just bought http://graphicriver.net/item/2d-game-tileset/93508 to see how it’s built and it seems you need a PSD with each animation sequence (walk, jump, attack) on a separate layer.

BTW , here’s a tool for making sprite sheets out of Flash animations:

I’m putting a link to my file for the competition
Though the more I read about sprite sheets here, the more I think I need to make some updates for it to fit well within the category.
Anyway, any critique and suggestions are welcome, don’t be shy. It’s my first file on GR and I plan to make it right.

I’ve been eyeing the Humanscale Float desk. The video shows it in action: http://www.humanscale.com/products/product_detail.cfm?group=floatThe base price is around $1300. I think that’s reasonable considering the cardiovascular health benefits (none of which any chair has — even a $900 Herman Miller). I like to change position frequently so flexibility is more valuable to me than cost.
I think it kills the alternatives, which are mentioned at the bottom of this review: http://www.core77.com/blog/furniture_design/standing_desk_shootout_humanscale_float_table_20334.asp
$1300 for a table that looks quite unstable? That’s a bit too much IMO . Unless it has a prefix of “i”
Anyway, you can make your own adjustable table (height and angle) with $100 worth of materials. It’s simple and allows me to switch between standing and sitting every couple of hours.

The bundle made 7378 total sales. You can calculate how much each author made like this:
Half the bundle value goes to Envato, and the other half is split amongst authors based on the value of their file. So your percentage of the earnings is your file price(3$ to 50$) divided by the total bundle value (523$).
If I’m allowed I’ll post my earnings.
I will not confirm or deny the validity of that calculation
