Thanks for your advice Vicky
I’ve created a clean responsive theme using the latest Foundation 4 framework. The theme features a powerful widgitized page builder with all sorts of custom widgets and post/custom post type loops, as well as post format support with lots of custom fields and SMOF theme styling panel again with lots of stuff here.
Unfortunately the theme was rejected and I’m not really too sure what else I can do with this one to get it accepted? If anyone has any tips and ideas I’d be very grateful for any reply.
You can check out the theme at http://demo.ninebase.com/primer/
Just to mention as well…
The loop widget offers tones of options – home page pagination if set on homepage, custom type loop, infinite scroll, masonry or fit row, 1 2 3 or 4 column layout and a combination of any of these options. Theres also layout options integrated for Woocommerce. So quite a lot of features already?

Your page builder is kick ass Smooth Themes, I was one of the first to purchase Magazon, outstanding theme. Really great work well done. Is there any chance you are available to take on this project to provide a super simplified version of your page builder functionality?
check mine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2Twgo1C09Q Flexible to change html structure , content parameters , change widgets(block)
Thanks for your email. Its quite hard to follow the video but this looks pretty great. I think it supports adding post category at various grid sized into the page via the page builder? If this is correct would it be something you’d be interested in taking on as a project to merge into a blank theme? (just the insert post functionality and also insert empty content box at various grid sizes). If this is something you’re interested in please shoot me a PM. If not, great work on your framework and best of luck with future sales.
Hi there! http://vimeo.com/51379659
If you are interested, whats your deal conditions ?cheers, freshface
Thanks for your email. This looks great, but not completely what I’m looking for sorry. I don’t see that it supports any post layout options? Ideally the page builder would load on the create/edit page section.
Free alternative: http://aquagraphite.com/2012/10/aqua-page-builder/ Or grab an extended license for: http://codecanyon.net/item/visual-composer-for-wordpress/242431 (just don’t forget to contact plugin author first)
Thanks for your email. Aqua page builder and visual composer are great plugins but not what I need really. They don’t offer support for various post layouts.
Through research, one of the best page builders I’ve seen is this free GPL one right here from site origin http://siteorigin.com/page-builder/ – something like this modified slightly to accommodate post layout structures and built into the theme is what I’m looking for.
I’m looking to have a ‘drag and drop page builder’ much like the one featured on Goodlayer themes (not quite as complicated) built and integrated into a blank theme (Foundation theme). It must be capable of supporting various post layout sizes (1/1 1/2 1/3 1/4).
If you are interested in this project please message me below for further details.
