I don’t have access to the sql on this site and I’m not really familiar with it.

But do you have an idea, why the themes and everything else are found, but not the plugins of the wordpress installation? The plugin page is empty. If I install a new one, it’s installed in the right (plugins) folder. But it’s not in the list and it doen’t work.

If I’m trying to activate it after the intallation in the wordpress admin menu it says “The plugin does not have a valid header”. (But I don’t intall it like plugin/akismet/akismet)

I have changed my Domain. I think the problem is since that

Hello,

I need fast help and the wordpress forum isn’t very fast in my opinion and you guys are always great ;)

I have a blog like www.mypage.com

but in the general settings the Wordpress URL is http://www.mypage.com/mypage which is wrong. The blog URL is correct.

When I change it to http://www.mypage.com, it doesn’t work. It is automatically changed back.

It would be ok, if the URL is “http://www.mypage.com/mypage”. Everything works BUT the plugins I’ve installed are not in the list.

Do you have an ideas what’s wrong?

Shame on me that I haven’t checked this out by myself. thanks.

But I have another syntax problem. I have a Variable “imgwidth” that I want to include in the wrap function. It doesn’t work like that:

$(this).wrap('<div style="background-color:#000; width:', imgwidth ,';">');

It also doesn’t work with “&quot” instead of the “

Do you have an idea?

I have a quick jquery-question. I’ve got the following function

$('#post-1', this).hover(function() {

But I want the function for all posts, not just for post #1. It doesn’t work if I type ”#post” or ”#post-” etc.

Can you help me?

thank you. I was unsure because the code seems to be by Kriesi and the tutorial not.

Is it generally allowed to use code from tutorials in premium themes on themeforest? Or do I have to find a sentence like the one you found?

Hello,

Is it allowed to use this code of a pagination tutorial (the code seems to be by Kriesi) for a premium theme to sell on themeforest? http://design.sparklette.net/teaches/how-to-add-wordpress-pagination-without-a-plugin/

thanks

Hello.

I haven’t found the right thing with google. But I think you can easily answer that:

I have added a custom post type: name: “portfolio” registered taxonomy for the category: “portfolio_category”

On the Front Page I want the latest portfolio items of a SPECIFIC CATEGORY (e.g. ID 5 ) to be displayed, but it doesn’t work with the normal “cat” like in the example below. It’s also not possible to write “portfolio_category” instead of “cat”.

new WP_Query('post_type=portfolio'.'&cat=5...

How can I fix that?

Thank you
