It is a pleasure to have helped. Let me know how you get on. We have built quite a few sites with this framework so far. One for a university survey, a large funeral home, a govt school site… the list goes on. be sure to let me know if you have questions that need to be answered in the forums of Genesis or Cobalt Apps (Dynamik Web Builder).

Regards,

Ciaran

If you ever have doubts on these things, always check on what support there is right within the WordPress Community. To do this simply search the plugin repository:

Ultimatum: http://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=ultimatum
Genesis: http://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=genesis&sort=

I think you get the picture now.. ;)

that is fine about the persistence as it is a good idea to get advice from people that have used the framework. If you are familiar with css, html and some very basic php, then you are better to go for a framework that has far superior support as well as many plugins built for it. Genesis Theme framework with Dynamik Web Builder Child theme. We use this in our everyday work in the studio. http://cobaltapps.com/downloads/dynamik-website-builder/ and Genesis http://www.studiopress.com/

Still has many small bugs… Not my cup of tea when I build out sites to find issues.

I have now 417 products purchased here on Envato. However there are quite a few purchases that I will not use, nor wish to wade through to find what I am looking for. I would like to suggest that there is a way to select items in the downloads section of our profiles to simply add them to a user archive so they are no longer in the downloads section.

Does this sound like a feasible option?

Downloaded and installed Runway WP, looks interesting, has potential, but cannot seem to really do much with it. Will keep an eye out for your documentation.

Hi Mactsolutions, good luck with staying with Ultimatum. I dumped it months ago, and glad I did. I noticed that the developer was extremely slow on responding to support in the forums. I had been inundated myself with support requests via Skype as I had given out my contact details to help out.

I have been using Catalyst Theme with Dynamik since, and never looked back. I have never been so happy to have made the jump. The learning curve was quick, and the framework has not given me a problem. And right out of the box the styling is quite stunning.

Good luck with your ventures into a better and more secure framework. By the way, I am “cmwwebfx” in the Ultimatum forum and Catalyst forums.

Ciaran

EDIT I feel I made a terrible mistake to have suggested others to use Ultimatum, and and I am sorry for that.

Thanks mcollins! :) We are looking at a buyer reward program. Currently we’re getting staff trained and shifted into areas where we can be more active with our buyers and authors.

Awesome.. I will take you up on your offer of some nice rewards (backdated of course, otherwise I will hold off on all my purchases till the rewards come in… lol)

Wow, 400 purchases! You deserve some Hero-badge (in opposite to author’s Elite-badge) and 5% discount.
I haven’t cracked the 400 just yet, but I have just bumped the number up by 1 more purchase a few minutes ago. Thus having now 498. :)

Maybe an idea would be for Envato to reward customers at 100 purchases milestones… each 100 gets you a better reward each time. It will promote more sales for sure.
