Hey there,

I’ve been working for the last couple of months for a Wordpress Template based on my pretty successful PSD template Flattitude. The work is almost done as you can see here but since summer is over and my clients started coming back from vacations with new and exciting projects for me I clearly won’t have time to finish this until December so I am willing to partner with an established author of ThemeForest to help me finish the theme.

What’s left?

  • Based on your established author experience make the theme comply for the new TF submitting rules
  • Documentation
  • Code validation
  • Cross browser testing and hacks to be applied (Chrome and Firefox) done by me
  • The preview theme switching script

Yeap that’s all that is left. I am willing to let go 20% – 30% of the sales, depends on your experience as an author on ThemeForest.

Please contact me via PM. Thanks

3 years ago Facebook didn’t have an iPad app so Mark Zuckerberg was asked at a mobile conference about it. He replied by saying “iPad’s Not Mobile…It’s A Computer…Sorry”.

I was intrigued about what he said, and how he didn’t consider the iPad mobile since it is very mobile to me. I carry it everywhere. I came to realize afterwards when I kept clicking on “view the desktop” site link what he really meant. Some responsive websites are really annoying on tablets.

I love the responsive versions on smart phones, they’re really helpful and all but when It comes to tablets, no sir. So how I see the use in responsiveness in tablets? Only if you’ve got a website with a 1200px container transform it to 1000px and make all the elements fit in that container. No full width elements or dropdown menu. There is no use to that in a landscape mode tablet.

This is what I used for the wordpress theme I am working right now: http://jsfiddle.net/jezzipin/JJ8Jc/

I modified it and used it by adding a class to the header when the page is scrolled down.

Hey guys, I want to start this post with saying that this thread is what inspired me to get my lazy ass to work and submit a PSD template to TF.

I have also tried 3 years ago with a wordpress and a html template and they were both rejected. Being rejected back then discouraged me to upload anymore stuff to ThemeForest until I read this thread. I didn’t know that everybody got rejected and it’s not happening because I was a lame-ass designer. It’s just that the envato team accepts only well done and perfect detailed stuff for the marketplace clients to download.

I kept coming and buying stuff that I liked even if i didn’t use them all just because I appreciate hard work and talented designers but I never thought of coming back as an author.

Well, I don’t do bad working as a web designer but I became really excited about the opportunities of the Envato Marketplace and seeing all the things you guys got inspired me to work on something to become part of the community. So I don’t want to become a millionaire or I don’t dream about really big stuff but I can’t say no to an addition to my monthly income.

Thank you guys!
