Icomoon is awesome.
As a tip, you can take the SVG from any font library, like FontAwesome, load it into Icomoon and remove any icons you are not using. We all love to save a little bandwidth, right?
Congratulations Tom! Having recently worked with Tom on a couple of my themes, the status is well deserved!
Yep, that is exactly how to submit an update. Only include the previews if they need changing.
A bit late on this one, but thank you! Lets hope the customers feel the same way!
I echo what @laranz said. Let’s hope for a peaceful resolution.
Hey, thanks. That’s what I tought, they let the user handle the font license and stuff, I don’t like doing that at all ..
No problems, I am in a similar situation myself. I agree, its pretty much a dead end, which is a shame.
It maybe worth contacting the font foundry / author to discuss though, as they could make an exception? You don’t ask, you don’t get?
I came across this theme: http://themeforest.net/item/konzept-fullscreen-portfolio-wordpress-theme/2383907 (which uses the same font)
KONZEPT uses Novecento font by Synthview, available from Fontspring. You need to accept Novecento’s EULA agreement before downloading if you’re planning to use it in your commercial or non-commercial projects: [View License].
Another theme with the same font is here: http://themeforest.net/item/zend-responsive-blogmagazine-wordpress-theme/3139105
Here is a link to the licence: http://typography.synthview.com/eula-free-fontv1-02.pdf
Inside it mentions about distribution, which I believe clarifies the issue.
Hope that helps.
