I ordered my iPad 2 and am just waiting for it to be shipped. Honestly, I don’t use my laptop for much development work, except when I need a change of scenery or am on the road. Other than for presentations and meetings with clients, I don’t particularly expect to use my iPad for development work either. But I do plan to use it as an “escape” from the development world, which in it’s own way is productive.
I’m getting ready to build something similar to that into a custom client theme. Feel free to contact me via my profile page and we can talk about possibilities.
Can you be a little more clear of what you’re looking for? A front end submission form for custom post types?
Not worrying about automatic updates for a moment, one of things you can (and should) do is establish a global plugin version variable. Then, anytime you have made changes that require extra work (such as updates to the DB), you perform a check on that global version variable and do the necessary updates if the current version of your DB, for example, is less than the most recent.
Yes, an EXCELLENT article!
Contact the developer or try one of the other slide managers available here.
Does anyone know if there is a way I can use the Envato API to get the date of the last time an item was updated?
I know that I can get a specific item, but I really want to retrieve the date of the last update of the specific item.
Dude, that’s great!
I’m not aware of anything like this already written, but I just wrote this exact functionality into a theme. Contact me via my profile page if you’d like to work something out.
