I don’t like Concrete5. It has a very ugly UI and it is not so intuitive. There are better cms out there (IMHO).
Advanced Custom Fields + Options Page add on
Site is down
It is so popular because everyone now has nice buttons.

I personally still use PS to make a rough(ish) outline of how my theme will look, then design the rest ‘in browser’, as that is the way I feel most comfortable with now. Have heard of the last few versions of Pixelmator doing some nasty things with Mountain Lion (system crashes etc..) Have heard it has just become very unstable in recent releases!! So I’m sticking with good ol’ PS for now![]()
No problem here with Pixelmator.

joomfx is right. If we haven’t got enough knowledge or experience with Joomla, we shouldn’t say “Joomla is not good” . I didn’t work with Joomla but I know that Joomla admin panel is not easy to understand for unexperienced user. So most of the customers wants to use Wordpress. Wordpress admin panel is simple and easy to use for everyone. So if we are doing this job for money,I think Wordpress is a better option![]()
I don’t like Joomla for these reasons…. and i don’t like Wordpress for these reasons. Wordpress admin panel is not as easy as you think. I prefer the perfect minimalism of symphony cms (http://getsymphony.com/) and craft (http://buildwithcraft.com/).
Just my 2 cents.
Hi all I’m starting using sketch (layout styles) in addition to Pixelmator (Image edit) for the next web layout. The apps are quite good and i’m start thinking to say goodbye to Photoshop. Does anyone of you use these applications on osx ? what do you think about them ?
