Also, I believe just by saying “You’re from America and you’re just now hearing about this?” implies a stereotype remark. That’s like saying “you’re black but you don’t eat watermelon and chicken?”Woowww. Honestly? Are those two remarks similar at all?! One is clearly racist and the other isn’t.
I stated what I meant by that in my next post. I was simply saying that I am also an American and I couldn’t blink without someone else telling me Steve Jobs passed away. Text messages, phone calls, every website I visited all had the news. I don’t watch TV either and that’s why I was saying you don’t have to watch TV to know who he is or that he died. Now is that “stereotypical”? I think not.
Anyway…I’m tired of defending one remark I made that you and xstortionist are both blowing out of proportion.
You say we’re blowing things out of proportion, yet you call people on the forums a troll and that is acceptable?
Two wrongs don’t make a right. You’re morals need an update my friend.

@msaadvertising, I don’t think I said anything offensive. I was merely expressing how odd it sounded and in turn was called a racist. But if you felt you had to flag a completely non-threatening post, that’s fine. But now it just looks like I attacked the poor guy when that’s not the case.Anyway….
OT: RIP Steve. You will be missed but your legacy will live on through Apple.
I understand man.
But I also understand where he might have felt like he was being attacked by a bunch of people calling him a troll. Which was way out of line. The guy doesn’t know Steve Jobs is, so now everyone calls him names? That doesn’t make sense. Clearly he thought someone on the forum had passed away and was concerned, only to find out it was a well known co-founder of Apple.

Either way, Steve Jobs will be missed!
Sorry Digital, but I had to flag your post. You were way out of line there.
The guy clearly doesn’t know who Steve Jobs is. He was concerned that maybe someone from the community had passed. Give him a break. Not everyone on this earth knows who Steve Jobs is. Hell, my brother in the Marines didn’t even know who he was, and he owns an iphone.

Nyz saidNo I mean the black background of the text and also the address box not the text. Or you can just play with the text or without the text; who knows what amazing design will come out ! So just take a try. Good luck
badhon saidThanks, do you mean all the text 3d except the address box?
Nice Idea frnd! I think If you make the text background 3d like then It will improve the look and also think about the background color and increase the padding/white space of the address box. Hope it will help you to improve your design![]()

I started to work today and i’m trying to make some 3d effect on the text, looks better? ill appreciate any feedback!
Thanks.

Not really to be honest. I just don’t think it suits the business card. Again, I would suggest going a different route completely.
Looks like the background on the first cd isn’t repeating correctly.
But to be blunt, they just don’t look really appealing. They are not something that you could say “wow these look great.” They just look normal to be honest.

This button design got rejected, they said its not up to their quality standards. How can I improve it?

You need to use better fonts / type.
And the buttons need to be cleaned up and presented in a more professional manner. As it is right now, they just look really bland and unconsistent.
I think it looks clean & elegant. But I think the cloud filter in the main text area could be removed and replaced with something else.

not very good.do you mean the whole design ?

I’d say the entire design looks really bad. You need to practice more before submitting to this site. Your work is clearly not up to par.

msaadvertising saidI didn’t miss it, but that’s not an ideal way to start a company.
Odysseus saidDid you miss the point that I made about a fortune 500 company being in business without having a logo?
But you can’t make the stationary without a logo. My point is that the logo comes first and everything else after. The whole theme has to carry through the branding package, but the logo sets that theme.
You’d be surprised on how many business I have worked with in the 12 years of advertising that are not concerned with their logo. There are way more important things involved with starting up a business than the logo.
