Nathron said@Nathron – my guess is that you are hosting on either HostPapa or NetRegistry. If so then it is their servers that got hit, and would have nothing to do with the theme.
@TumGrundy My site using the Elastico theme just got hacked, the index.php said “hacked by hacker”. I suppose I’ll have to look into a new theme. Put a lot of work into customizing it, too! >:(
