They are similar, but you cannot say they’re the same, imho.
If I take one of your templates that is unique by technique you used and only thing I change is the camera angle in few shots…. Would you report that new template that I upload here or you will write the same comment as above that they are just similar ? Moj brate, znas na sta sam mislio kada sam napisao ovo gore da su isti
I knew I saw it somewhere. They are the same ! That should be reported
Interesting idea but…I agree with this rejection also. Maybe not hard, probably I would go with soft rejection but there are still a lot things to be changed. First of all preview. No one wants to see 18sec of nothing on white BG ( those informations can be at the end or they are in 99.99% in item description ). Then the style. It looks like intro for Tomb Rider game from ‘99. You did put a lot of effort but these scene can be created in AE without any 3D applications with much less effort also ( So don’t get me wrong but I like idea, execution is what can be much more better…. ). Hope you will find these words useful.
4 days without sales. NOw I’m sure that this is going to be the average for me. Great works in a super competitive marketplace is the reason for low sales for some authors. Now more than ever only the best works and will survive. Time to improve or die!
or to improve search engine, but probably we will die till that happen
Every time I buy something on VH, GraphicRiver, or any other marketplace I give 5 stars to the author before I even download the file, cause I know it means a lot to us as authors and if it is a bad file that deserve low rating it wouldn’t be accepted at the first place at all.
More reviewers = less waiting time = less front page exposure. So there is a good thing in current situation
hm, there’s a mistake in the think process here… Unless the queue of files is getting everytime longer AFTER you made a review session, i.e. you cannot manage the files anymore, the only factor that affects front time exposure is the number of files that get approved per week. And this number is affected by the number of submissions.
So let’s just assume we have enough reviewers that are spread around the globe and can work 24/7. Now let’s assume they can almost immediately after submission approve or reject an item. Then the front page exposure is only defined by the next author that submits a file that gets approved.
Now, in the current system, you are of course not 24/7 available. So there are some rush hours when you pump out 50 files at once and then stop. Front page exposure is for the one that gets reviewed in the beginning of the rush almost nothing, for the last ones that were approved it can be a whole weekend. It’s pure luck.
But when you also manage to deal with a week of submissions within a week of reviewing, just offset by some days, then the AVERAGE front page exposure is still only defined by the number of approved items.
Only when you CAN NOT manage a week of submissions in a week of revieweing, so let’s say 7 days of submissions = 8 days of reviewing. Then the review time will get longer and longer and longer, but the average front page exposure stays the same, because the number of approved items is then no longer defined by the submissions but by the reviewers limit.
So if you don’t want the waiting time for review to get endless, the average front page exposure is only defined by number of submissions that will get approved.(english is not my native language, I hope this was explained well enough and easily understandable)
I couldn’t agree more.
yup. Slow sales again.
Thank you guys for your kind words. Means a lot to me. And yes few days ago I took working here more serious and planing to make more serious projects, so hope that featured item is on it way also
Yes I know this is boring thread but this means a lot to me. I didn’t celebrate 1000 sales so I have to celebrate this one Main reason for putting this words here are to say really one BIG thanks to ENVATO and VideoHive community. I manage to save extra money with earnings from here. I manage to buy my first car ( peugeot 308 ) and to buy my family and GF a lot of presents. Now I’m saving for some good DSLR Camera. And last but not least I manage to learn how this freelance thing work, how to act professional and I matured in sense of design and animation just by every day looking at new templates that just keep pushing the limits further to work and play more. Featured author, power elite badge here I come
So with all this said once again Thank you all.
p.s. This is my second account. My first account ( 2 years ago ) was deleted by support cause when reviewer soft rejected one of my projects and asked to put OF prerendered I didn’t prerender it ( cause I didn’t even know what prerender means ) , so instead of that I put the whole Plug -in in folder and rar it. That’s how stupid I was in the beginning Of course that leaded to deleting my account cause that was attempt of piracy and freezing my earned money so now I guess you guys realize how much I learned through this community
