Like EladChai said, just google some keywords like five dollar graphic design. I’ve searched just for mock-ups and there is basically every mock-up from GR, some of them are selling them for more, like an extra service. In this case I don’t know if the proper license exists because they are in direct competition with us and not selling the files as part of a bigger project, and some even send the psd’s.
I can live with the giraffes, like you said, nothing can be done and I think other authors have decided the same after the last wave of giraffe threads on this forum.
But this is a real company, giving a platform to thieves who then sell our files (or the result of our files) as their own, and there are hundreds of our files, that’s why I think envato can take legal action.
Link pm’d.
I’m for a long time in the club but chose to ignore it (at least the classic giraffes) but couldn’t take it any longer after seeing 40+ people selling the same files and claiming to be graphic designers on a “legit” website.
I know the mods will close this thread but please envato, do something about this.
A few users contacted me about my files being distributed on this website which provides various services for 5$. After contacting their support for the first time, they asked me to send some documents to prove copyright ownership, I wasn’t in the mood at that time and just showed them the link to my portfolio but it wasn’t enough and the services stayed online.
The second time, again after being informed by envato users, I had to do something and sent again an email to their support with about 40 links and this time I was successful.
Today I found only 5-6 of those services and decided to contact the sellers directly because I was really curious what they had to say. One of them said the following:
“You’re speaking as if you own the files.” ..after 2 more messages he offered me a percentage of his earnings.
So, fellow authors, have you experienced the same and is envato doing anything to protect us and them (since they’re losing money too)?

Why not start Vector Valley where all vector art can be uploaded which will release the clog.
That was discussed several times and now it would be the best time to make separate marketplaces for vectors and logos, just compare the number of files to other marketplaces.
Vectors – 39870, Logos – 16249
3D Ocean – 8802, CodeCanyon – 4995, ActiveDen (the dead one) – 11964

The GraphicRiver Review team has recently lost some of our available capacity due to unforeseen circumstances. In other words, we’re down a few reviewers!

All the Reviewers are still here, it’s the Marketplace that has experienced incredible growth![]()

Dutchflow saidDuchflow, I didn’t understand why the name Pro Business Card is the reason for soft rejection ?
I get some files of mine soft rejected because of the file name i use of my business cards. I use The name Pro Business Card and now all of a sudden they are soft rejected and i can’t use that name anymore. But i can’t change the name so i have to delete them and upload them again and wait again 3 weeks??!!I quote: Rejection Details
Reason: Please remove the PRO term from your title file and preview image. Do not use subjective words like brilliant, amazing, or best. These words describe your opinion rather than what the file actually is.
This is kinda strange because i had no problem with my other 15 files that have the same name. I also get soft rejections out of the blue because with reasons that my file design of my business cards is to similiar to other cards while i see everyday the same similiair like business cards. It looks like they have hired some new reviewers that have some new strange criteria.
There’s no consistency, there are hundreds of PRO, ULTIMATE, etc. files. My first rejection was because of the word “logo” but if it’s “your logo”, it’s ok.
