Erm… I realize that this app is a direct competitor to my app, but here is what I found on extras.envato.com:
PLEASE NOTE that you cannot use the Envato name or its logo in your items as app, product or user names, or in domain names. You are free to use the terms “Marketplace” or “Powered by Envato API” and you can mention us as part of your description. The following graphic can also be used:
The icon that Enabled designed is cool, but it uses the Envato logo, which apparently isn’t allowed by Envato. Let alone the fact that it’s uncool to other app developers like me, because buyers might think that this is an official app.
I hope I was as constructive as possible
Kontramax saidI am wondering the same.
nickys saidThanks for clarifications, I very hope that sometime app will can to pay off all the necessary and also profit to author. I ready to buy such apps for $20 or more.. A pity that envato don’t want to participate in creating and financing 1 simple and universal app for all of 2 500 000 us, sorry my eng.
...it’s just too expensive..
I really wish that there were 2,500,000 authors That’s the total number of registered users, including buyers. I have tried to estimate the number of active authors that are making at least $100/month, but it’s hard. And if we think about how many of those authors have an iPhone or an iPad, the numbers get really small.
@nCrafts You can rely on the marketplace chart to see trends and get a general idea if it’s a good day for the marketplace or not. It can’t be super accurate because I’m not datamining every sale from each marketplace, I’m sure Envato wouldn’t like that But I would say that it’s pretty reliable.
It will notify you for new sales, comments, changes in rating and will show you interesting stats, including stats about the whole marketplace!I understand why it doesn’t have push notification, but the description might be misleading. BTW, what’s the monthly cost of having this feature? Except this the app is superb and the rest of features makes it worth to buy. Good job!
I explained more about the cost here: http://codecanyon.net/forums/thread/greenpaw-app-looking-for-beta-testers/91526?page=4
bilbo_b saidAGAIN????? Very sad, so useful and so useless! Few years looking ideal simple phone app.. but only compromisses.. So authors, thats true, if you need something perfect – do it yourself.
The app currently doesn’t support push notifocations
I appreciate your feedback and I understand why push is the most wanted feature. I would love to implement it and use it myself as an author, but the initial and monthly cost for running the service is something that I can’t overlook. That’s why most apps which started with this feature don’t have it anymore – it’s just too expensive.

@Enabled Thanks, but the beta is over and the app should be in the App Store soon!
What’s the latest dude? - Ed
The latest… erm… more reviewers The app got rejected twice so far, because it contained links to themeforest or another marketplace, which is against the rules of the App Store. You can’t have links in your app to sites that might ask you for money for whatever reason.
Anyway, one of the things I had to remove was the “tap to reply in safari” feature for the comments. Sucks I know, but what can you do…
So I’m waiting for another review, this one should be it.
@mpc I have stopped sending invitations because my developer account at Apple has almost reached the limit of how many devices I can add to it for distribution (beta testing) ... and I can remove devices only once per year for some reason.
The app doesn’t support push notifications at this point. There was a discussion about this in the previous pages of this thread where I explained why is that, but in one word – cost. If the app is successful that will be the first thing to implement. I know I want it for myself and other authors will love it too
