Next day – no luck. Still doesn’t show me the market statistics. :-( Any other suggestions?

I really can’t say anything else unless I have your phone and see what went wrong. Like I said, I have tested this myself along with more than 30 beta testers, no such bug has been reported so far. Give it some more time, stats will appear ;)

The app refreshes the marketplace data every 24 hours. Just make sure you open it at least once per day and the data will appear, be sure :)

Thanks for the app, looks good! Did anybody told you before, that PUSH is missing? ;-) Seriously, my question is: How long does it really take to collect data for the market statistics? I use the app for at least 4 days now but all I can see is the message “This chart needs at least 48 hours to collect data from the marketplace. Please check back later!”

Nope, first time I hear about that ^^

About the market stats, that’s the first time I hear this complaint. I have tested this over and over and I’m pretty confident that it should be working. I can think of a few reasons why it won’t display stats. For example if you used the app without an internet connection? Or if you quit the app too quickly, without letting it fetch all the data?

Ok, so I need an internet connection for that?? I thought I can insert all my data by using the great envato-to-brain-to-phone function I’ve developed lately. :-D

Ok let me run the app for several minutes now…

Just give it some time, I know it works :P

Nice App I’ve just purchased it, it would be great if you can include Sale notification (with sound).

I am considering that, but still the best that I would be able to do (in other words – what the Envato API allows me to do) is send a notification like “you have A sale”. Can’t say how many, or anything about comments or rating changes. I’m still not sure how useful that will be and if it’s worth the cost/effort at all.

I’m also considering that if I add this feature and advertise “push notifications” for my app, people won’t necessarily know that the feature has such limited functionality and might be disappointed in the end.

I don’t know, I’m still thinking about it :) Any ideas?

Great app any chance that we can get a date below the item so we know when its bought?

There have been lots of requests, I really can’t promise anything :) I’m also trying to keep things nice and simple, I don’t want to overpopulate the UI :)

Erm… I realize that this app is a direct competitor to my app, but here is what I found on extras.envato.com:

PLEASE NOTE that you cannot use the Envato name or its logo in your items as app, product or user names, or in domain names. You are free to use the terms “Marketplace” or “Powered by Envato API” and you can mention us as part of your description. The following graphic can also be used:

The icon that Enabled designed is cool, but it uses the Envato logo, which apparently isn’t allowed by Envato. Let alone the fact that it’s uncool to other app developers like me, because buyers might think that this is an official app.

I hope I was as constructive as possible :)

...it’s just too expensive..
Thanks for clarifications, I very hope that sometime app will can to pay off all the necessary and also profit to author. I ready to buy such apps for $20 or more.. A pity that envato don’t want to participate in creating and financing 1 simple and universal app for all of 2 500 000 us, sorry my eng.
I am wondering the same.

I really wish that there were 2,500,000 authors :D That’s the total number of registered users, including buyers. I have tried to estimate the number of active authors that are making at least $100/month, but it’s hard. And if we think about how many of those authors have an iPhone or an iPad, the numbers get really small.

@nCrafts You can rely on the marketplace chart to see trends and get a general idea if it’s a good day for the marketplace or not. It can’t be super accurate because I’m not datamining every sale from each marketplace, I’m sure Envato wouldn’t like that :) But I would say that it’s pretty reliable.

It will notify you for new sales, comments, changes in rating and will show you interesting stats, including stats about the whole marketplace!
I understand why it doesn’t have push notification, but the description might be misleading. BTW, what’s the monthly cost of having this feature? Except this the app is superb and the rest of features makes it worth to buy. Good job!

I explained more about the cost here: http://codecanyon.net/forums/thread/greenpaw-app-looking-for-beta-testers/91526?page=4

The app currently doesn’t support push notifocations
AGAIN????? Very sad, so useful and so useless! Few years looking ideal simple phone app.. but only compromisses.. So authors, thats true, if you need something perfect – do it yourself.

I appreciate your feedback and I understand why push is the most wanted feature. I would love to implement it and use it myself as an author, but the initial and monthly cost for running the service is something that I can’t overlook. That’s why most apps which started with this feature don’t have it anymore – it’s just too expensive.
