I buy a jquery module extended license. I now use the full script unmodified and just create a backend for it so that the slide can be used and maintained in a Joomla, Drupal DotNetNuke or similar portal system
Is this allowed or not because I have seen a few around but if I read your license explanation

Its also in the typekit.com font offering. So you can mention that this theme needs a typekit.com yearly account for the font usage

Technically I look for
Well commented code. Even if I don’t have to go in the code of scripts I always check if the code is well commented. If this is the case that another proof for me that the author spend time on his product.
HTML themes should also be well commented. These will be used in various CMS systems so it should be easy for me to modify it and not having to go deep in the code and find out for myself where each item block starts or ends.
Documentation is a pre. Every feature should be well documented. If I can not find documentation in the live preview in a file that I am considering buying that I always ask the author to send a screenshot or a few pages so I can see how the documentation is setup. its not that I can;t code ur understand code but i don’t want to spend unnecessary time in understanding how it works.
Of course there should be a perfect demo. If you want to win me over in buying an item I have to see how versatile something is especially in jQuery plugins if you have a basic a normal and a very different example this is proof enough for me to buy it.
Another thing im looking for in themes is a credit section on the item page / part of the deliverable. Which external scripts are used but also which images are used. Sometime I would like to reuse some of the images myself and i would like to know where i can buy each of them.

I buy quite a lot here, if I have a project I look here for items that I could use or modify for my project as the main reason but also some other reasons as well.
I have a few authors that I just buy each item they release because of the quality of the work. Even if I don’t have a project to use it for yet but the quality of the work I am accustomed to I am sure that i will find a use for it soon and this way I support that author to keep on making great items
If there is an item from a new or established author that is quite unique and original I just buy it to support the author even if I don’t have a use for it yet. As Orman Clark mentioned on twitter a lot of the themes lately look alike. Of course an author wants to make money so he creates what sells best so he looks at others best sellers. But ff ther are new authors that do it differently I support this buy buying the item.

I don’t know this product but this sounds like maybe you uploaded the zip you downloaded and perhaps not extracted it and find the correct zip as well as the documentation in there ( I am not saying this is the case but most of the time its something like this )

^ I’m not sure, but maybe I did not understand you well, can you clarify or show example of ‘Before-After’?this is what i mean. The problem is many of templates are using jquery or other gallery templates that doesn’t support this feature. I need a very simple template that supports this feature. I’m really tiered of searching around and asking all owners do they template supports this kind of effect. I’m getting every time the same answers. No and no and again no. And when i asking for a custom work of a payed template i’m getting same answer again. the do not know java or can’t modify the template etc. I’m a retoucher and i definitely need this feature.

No need to blame template authors that there templates don’t have the option you are after. after all its not the template you should be looking for but a plugin there are multiple before and after sliders and if I am not mistaken freshline has a before after slider and also has it included in on of there tempaltes

you can resell your own item on multiple envato marketplaces ( there are plenty of authors with psd and html and wp version of there themes. so why not let your friend do it for you and then you sell under your name adn you both split the money in person all good there
