no idea, dekurvajo
I guess I am not a web designer then, I just design for the web.
I don’t know what I am anymore, now I can trash out all those fancy biz cards.
what a loss
Ever had that client who claims he/she is a top webdesigner, but actually don’t have a clue about CSS or HTML not to mention JS? It is somehow funny to have those guys requesting support all the time. How do you handle that? Do you help them or ignore them? I mean from a serious perspective, isn’t that a insult to the real webdesigners? Looking forward to your answers
a front end developer is the one who must know HTML CSS and JS
a web designer has nothing to do with that, of course usually there two profession can overlap but if you look at professional level then a front end developer won’t sit down and design in photoshop and the designer will not touch the code, since they are specialized.
pixelentity saidMany authors doesn’t realize the consequence of stock growth. There is a day in the future when the home page thumbnails will continuously move like conveyor belt.
Dream-Theme saidA featured item now gets 1 month of home exposure which is an insane amount compared to 1-2 days of newly approved items. Why not having 1 feat per day instead, with seven spots each item would be granted 1 week BF
One of our themes was featured. Now it’s off the homepage. Guys, I can assure you that homepage gives you MASSIVE sales increase.
yes that will happen eventually, I think then envato should disable the homepage thumbnails altogether and make buyers to go to the category they interested in and look for the files there.
I have received a lot more offers then I thought I will. Currently I am not looking anymore, but try to decide.
Thank you keythemes, I am happy that you like it.
Thank you BittLoader, I will check my mail.
Hi Everyone, today is a big day for me, my first PSD Template was accepted. (after 3 rejections)
I am happy that I made my first step in being part of this great community.
Besides to say Hi to all of you in this thread I also have a question, I don’t know HTML nor WordPress programming and I don’t think that I could learn it in a short period of time to a level that meets the criteria of the buyers on ThemeForest. So I was thinking that there is a chance that I find somebody (I saw earlier similar threads) who is willing to team up with me and taking my designs and creating a WordPress Theme from it and we would share the profit 50/50.
So if there is anybody who is active on ThemeForest and has WordPress Themes up for sale and interested in this partnership please contact me.
Or is it to early to look for a partner with only 1 design accepted hours ago? Should I work a few more months and have 3-4 designs up for sale and then ask around?
