@Sunteem, generally we do not provide refunds for purchased credits. This is outlined in our terms and also on the deposits page.
However, if you open a ticket with us, we might be able to help as we will look at these on a case by case basis. If you’ve already opened a ticket or sent us an email, we’ll try and get back to you as soon as we can.
In theory it should work. But it is up to the payment provider as to whether they would accept debit card details. I can’t speak on behalf of PayPal or Skrill, so I can’t really clarify that for you.
As an example, at ALL of the hotels I’ve stayed at, they won’t take and impression of your debit card, they need a ‘real’ credit card. So it might be the same reasons. I’m assuming it would be easier for a company to charge a credit card than it is to deduct funds from a bank account, which is what a debit card essentially does.
Sometimes choosing a licence can be confusing, but I’ll try and break it down for you.
From your example that you’ve explained:
- You’re going to create a directory site for anyone to access free of charge. - Your client will then charge a fee for members to list their details on the site. - You will have a section on a subdomain which will be selling tickets to events.
If that summary is correct, you will only need a Regular Licence of the theme as long as the theme runs through the free section of the site, through to the paid section for members.
I hope that clears it up. If you need more clarification, you can open a ticket here and we’ll help you out.
Have a good one
Currently, the only way to purchase items without a credit card is to open an account with either PayPal or Skrill. You can then link that account to a bank account – you should seek support from your preferred provider if you don’t know how to do this.
Have a good day!
If a person has already visited our site, or used the same computer that has already had a referral listed against it once before, our referral system will not record them as a new referral.
The main point of the Affiliate Program is to introduce new members to the Envato Market Sites and to the Envato brand. While we understand that you and quite a lot of other members use the items for your clients, the Affiliate Program is not set up for multiple or repeat purchases.
It would be great to have some sort of loyalty program, I know I’d love to see one, but for the time being, the Affiliate Program is set up for new referrals only.
If you want need more clarification on anything, please let us know. Have a good one!
As an Exclusive Author, the items which you sell on the Marketplaces CAN’T be sold or redistributed externally from our Marketplaces ie. on another site etc.
However, if you choose to opt out of exclusivity (which can be at any time you want to), there is a 30 day cool-off period in which you are still an Exclusive Author.
Just remember, this only applies to the items in your portfolio, here on the Marketplaces. So if you had ‘Item A’ being sold on the Marketplaces, you can’t then sell the same item on another site. But if you have another item, ‘Item B’ which isn’t being sold on our Marketplaces, then you can do as you want with that item.
Once your 30 days is up from when you opt out of exclusivity, then you can then sell ‘Item A’ on an external site, too.
I hope that helps
