When you purchase an item from the Marketplaces, ThemeForest in particular, you can contact the author of the item if you run into any issues. Just make sure before you purchase the item that the author offers this type of support as it is not mandatory that an author provide support for their item.

Would you be able to put in a ticket with the screen shots (assuming you can replicate the issues again).
Once you’ve put in the ticket, can you post the ticket ref and I’ll pass it onto the right team.
Or create another account with your old username which will be able to be taken after your new one will be in effect.. This way you won’t have to worry about referralsis it allow to have two account on TF
You can definitely have more than one account on the Envato Marketplaces. Just keep in mind that even though we allow users to have multiple accounts, we unfortunately are not able to transfer any type of data or funds between the account. The accounts are completely separate along with the data that relates to them.
How are things coming along with PayPal? Are there still transactions waiting to be processed? I’ve experienced a drastic sales decrease over the last two days. I’m actually hoping it’s because of this paypal issue… Might I be correct??
It seems that this PayPal outage a few days ago has had quite an affect on the Marketplace as you can see. Everything is back to normal with the recent purchases, but the clean up after the outage is taking longer than expected.

I just made a purchase as well for PhotoMosiac – I tried twice using different cards through PayPal and was denied both times at 11:57am CST on January 29. I actually needed two licenses so I’m cool with being charged twice, but I need to set up my product ASAP – I have a client project that needs this plugin! Please return to the merchant’s website and try using a different payment method (if available).”I have no idea why this might be bouncing back – both accounts are free and clear cards – is there another way to pay aside from PayPal? It’s killing me that $8 is standing in the way of my website being ready to be showcased to the CEO.

Ah. It seems, PayPal has created a lot of work for Envato Support Team. As an author I would like to notify support about suspicious transactions. My item was purchased 3 times in short period (shorter then 1 minute). I don’t know if it is because of PayPal problems. Just let you know.
I’ve checked the purchases and it was due to the script that our devs ran. All the purchases went through one after the other and were made available to the respective buyers.
