jQuery is very nice to use. Of course as other posters here pointed out, you shouldn’t over-use JavaScript effects/animations, otherwise we’ll be turning back time to 1998 and GeoCities and the marquee and blink tags shudder.

For my own small projects, I have used jQuery for a calendar/datetime picker and for sliding out the results of a table (the generation of the table is fairly quick but I didn’t want the user’s vision to be shocked when a bunch of rows are generated. It’s so jarring). I also used it for tooltips which look lovely, check out ClueTip if you ever need them.

By sample blog page I mean an HTML file that looks like the front-page or post page for a blog with sample posts and their text. Something like “Sample Post….by Whoever” with the text being “Hello whateverkjaweqwkje”. Basically a template for a blog that I can use for a live preview. I deployed my template to my site and then took screenshots that way, but it would be nice to have a single HTML file I can use with my stylesheets to test out the look.

I don’t know if that’s more clear.

I was creating a MovableType 4.x theme/style a few days ago and I didn’t find a good solid sample blog page to use for screenshots. Does anyone have one or know where I can find one? Something like the sample seen in the default designs thumbnails would be awesome.
