Theres not much Envato can do as they have no part in the agreement you made with the author.

I have done work in fixed price 900$. But he said after approval he will pay. But he did not pay yer.

I hope if he dont pay Envato will take down the template

Thanks

Then you need to file a DCMA, Envato can’t just “take down the theme” without one.

You can email support and they’ll get you an invoice for the item.

If your theme is close enough to being accepted they’ll give you specifics.

Its not really the reviewers job to tell you how to design/code. With the amount of themes that get submitted giving specifics on each theme would be a waste as many aren’t even close to the standards here. You can always post your theme here are get help from the community, most authors on the forums will have an idea whats wrong.

Why didn’t they just say that to start with. But no, I had to email back and forth and then eventually post here! When I looked at it, it sounded like all of that is included. :( It states it – ” Lots of different premium features and plugins ”

Well you do get the features and plugins, you just don’t get automatic upgrade/support from the plugin authors unless the theme/plugin author are the same person.

Just to start you can “really” transfer the license. If you’re buying themes for client work its best to create a separate account or have them create one and after your done with the client give them that account with the items you purchased. That will give them access to purchase codes/items support when you no longer work for them(for whatever reason)

Yes its messy but in the long run its better for your business, you’re not faking credentials if they know you’re using a theme. You’re hired for the work you do and that is part of the work. When I create accounts I use a password generator and give them all the details after the projects complete.

As for contract goes, its just a normal service contract, depending on the scope you may need to make sure that the theme “expenses” are covered and not part of your project/hourly cost.

Thats because you bought the theme not the plugins. You cannot get auto updates from bundled plugins (that require a purchase code) unless you buy the plugin also.

create custom permission so you’re the only one to view the options to input the username/api key.

Theres a series of plugins in the repo that will let you do something like that http://wordpress.org/plugins/role-scoper/

Hi, I wanted to download an update of the Corona wordpress theme, which I bought in 2012, and I realize my Envato account has become blank. No trace of my earlier purchase, no option to download any update. How to solve this?

EDIT: I really should have read Gareth post… what he said
