You could, In case of the beginning a new post, when you can’t figure out yet what kind of post format it will be, add all metaboxes, and show/hide them with some javascript depending on what post format is selected.

However, when changing a post format on an existing post if you’ve only loaded the needed metabox – then you have to re-save the post first to get the new metabox for that certain post format.

I see a lot of plugins/theme options which show a message that you have to publish or save as concept, before you get to see extra options inside an added metabox – so it’s not idyllic, but no real big issue i guess…

Another alternative is just hide it with JS when a post format is selected, then it won’t technically go away if they already have content and they can still toggle it via the view if they need it.

Hey Brashell61, Thanks for your report. Support will be in touch with you shortly on that ticket.
We appreciate your patience and understanding :)
I still haven’t received a reply, despite this post and several tweets to the @envato_support account. What gives?

Weekend (unless somethings changed)

You guys are lucky. It can take up to 1 year to get your passport here. :(

It can in the US if its a new one, renewals normally are much quicker. (not this quick though)

@Parallelus Congrats on 10 years!

@chainbreakr You are doing it wrong. The client should be entering his username and own Secret API key. They should not be using yours. That way they only have access to their purchases.
He’s probably buying his client themes with his own account, not setting on up for each(like you prob should be)

This is a really cumbersome approach and no reason I should have to create an Envato account for every WP project I do that uses a theme from here.

It clearly says in the license agreement: 2.You are licensed to use the Item to create one single End Product for yourself or for one client (a “single application”), and the End Product can be distributed for Free.

Secondly, it also makes it difficult having 50+ client accounts when a support request is made. This is MUCH better managed if I can keep all purchases under my account. The reality is that if I’m setting up/building a child theme based on a theme here for a client, it’s a client that already struggles enough to get through basic WP editing and is paying me to handle everything from updates to site management to sorting support issues.

Yes it makes it easier for you, not for your clients if you ever go MIA or they decide not to use you’re services.

I guess after the 100s of themes I’ve purchased for clients I’ve never needed to asked for support so its not really an issue for management.

Either way, you can use the API to just update 1, its not that difficult to code. (Also the dev behind this no longer works for envato)

Just a trend.

I have yet to see a theme use a “preloading” animation and actually do any real preloading most are just time stalls. If your worried about slow users, you’re better off caching(server side) but then that wouldn’t really be a theme issue more a site owner one.

Hello :) I don’t see that item as being purchased with your account either. Can you check to see if the purchase process completed successfully? If it looks like it has, can you open a Support ticket and give them all the details including any confirmation details from PayPal or Skrill? Thanks!

I opened a ticket yesterday And sent them the payment ( paypal )

Lost $8 :(!

do you happen to have multiple accounts?
