To ensure somebody you should either:

1) Post a link to a serious article about HTML5 semantics (as I did)

2) Post a links to a cool, popular sites built on section / article

Before that, it’s just fairytale.

As for additional CSS see Nicole’s Sullivan investigation from good old 2011.

For others who will read this thread. I repeat a links to thorough article from my first post.

Part-1

Part-2

Part-3

and stop hotting the air with empty marketing slogans. I do not buy it.

Another fanboy scream. It’s funny to observe how you struggle with ancient worpdress and pray on hipster HTML5 at the same time.

Maybe reading my link before feeling emo would be a better idea?! There IS additional CSS, cause except divs you should also describe article, section, footer, header and so on in some situations. Nav, header and footer are OK, btw. I talk about replacing div / h1 / h2 hierarchy with section / hh hierarchy. And, to all this, it causes SEO problems too in my experience. So my advice is to be careful with this hipster semantic stuff for now. No to “avoid them at all cost”. Thats all.

Yes they work. They require a lot of additional CSS. Thats the problem. Bootstrap2-3 don’t use them for a reason…
