But now, I am receiving email from:

So, how I am supposed to reply to my customers now? All of them email me from my profile page!

I think the information is clear. Authors are thinking on the authors side, that what makes it confuse. But I think it needs some updates.
From what I understand is:
Envato is concerned to explain to authors and buyers how they earn from their users from the amount of the money that gets on their hands: Lets take the $100 item example from a brand new author, envato comission from buyers is $20 and from authors is $30, that makes $50 and the authors earns $50, and between envato and authors it is like the real price of the item is $80 because we (authors) need to pay our fee e.g: $80*37.5% = $30. For authors earning it is the same as $100×50% = $50 (old way but still same), but envato does not take the 50% straight from the author as in past, takes X% from buyer and Y% from author.
So, using the percentages method:
for $0-$3750 envato takes 37,50% from authors, and that means takes: 12.50% from buyers and the author earnings is 50%, so the old earnings percentage still apply (still the same), but I think they must be showed on the earnings page as well, because it did not changed.
I think this changes is to let us know how they earn and probably have some improvements on their statements and accounts.
About the $2 fee, I think that fee was a cost to the envato that was being split.
Am I wrong?
About this thing of buying own item I didn’t thought that was possible! Why not the devs do a check on the user if is a seller and it is their item and hide this purchase button?
