Now as for the track, I was not exactly asking in this post what was wrong with it but i was simply wishing that the reviewers would give a constructive feedback instead of an unrelated link. But here it is if you care, any constructive feedback is good. https://soundcloud.com/semyon-kurlykov/ant-colony

Maybe this hard rock/metal idea its not so bad.But production is very bad.No offense.Guitar is too mudy with unwanted bass frequencies, drum is too quiet and also mudy and cymbals are to loud :).... There is few more things but these few may be the reason for rejecting the track. And maybe in marketplace already exist something similar :)

Hey Kurlykovs – I’ve not heard the track that you had hard rejected so I can’t comment on that but you write a LOT of posts and have very few tracks in your portfolio, or sold. You also seem to move around a lot too – US, Isle of Man, UAE… are you taking AJ seriously? Really? It’s not helping sales so I don’t see the upside of all that.

I joined in mid-Feb, have posted over 100 tracks and never been rejected for a single one. If I don’t think a track is up to scratch, I don’t post it. I certainly wouldn’t dream of going public with my protestations if one of my tracks didn’t make the grade. Without hearing it what do you want any of us to say to you..?

The tracks you have on AJ are good, but waiting to see more output from you, other than lots of posts. Probably doesn’t help your cause to vent so much bile against the reviewers and the site in general (UkuleleJungle was pretty lame dude).

We’re here to sell music commercially. Whether you like it or not it’s actually completely irrelevant that you dislike uke music, clients are buying it and it’s your loss that you’re not selling it.

If you do write a uke track one of these days, don’t title it as you suggested “Another Lame Uke Track IV”, it will sell better under another name. Check top sellers page for proof of this theory.

I don’t know you (or where you actually reside) obviously, but I like a couple of the (3) tracks you currently have in your portfolio and certainly think there is talent there, but I’m confounded as to why you’re getting rejected so often as of late. As others have suggested, whack it up on soundcloud so we can have a listen and we might be able to offer constructive criticism.

My only other suggestion is to make “Crystal World” your featured item. It’s a good track.

Hope you get your stuff sorted soon and get back to writing music which is why we are all here…

Don’t be so negative mate – it’s a marketplace and sooner you figure that out, sooner you will thrive here. All the best. JB

10+ And from my personal experience I realized that reviewers are most of time (always) in right. And few times when my item was soft rejected, when I did some improvements to the song, like reviewer told me, actually, song has been better. Its simple math :)

As I understand for parallel compression you have two same tracks (drums, vocals) one with no compression and second with it.And with proper compression and mixing tracks you get more punchy, natural, fat sound.
H-Comp does it for you, skipping that step ;)
If your DAW of choose is Reaper You have a mix control (between the UI ( show/hide graphics) and bypass buttons) on every plug-in. So you can mix dry signal and proceeded signal together. Pretty cool!

I never noticed that. It seems useful. Thanks for advice :)
