Take advantage of social networks, it is good way to promote your work. As mentioned before, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Deviantart, even Youtube are good platforms.
Personally, I like the color scheme of the design, however, if I were you I would try to make typo stand out a little more, this way it kind of blends in too much. Another thing I would try to do is to just make the whole flyer a little bit more crowded, try to add in some icons, little bit more text, QR code, etc.
Sometimes, there is nothing wrong with the soft reject though. Best of luck and let us know the final outcome.

The great thing about this work is freedom of organizing your work hours. Once I get into my rhythm, I could literally spend all day long making a design and testing different ideas.
But if it is “one of those days” when nothing is going your way, and you are struggling to find your inspiration to stay on track, the best way possible is just to go to sleep
So, it is all relative
