I don’t think “revenge ratings” should be flagged and removed. Users have freedom to ask and claim, even when it’s out of proportions and logic, and we authors have freedom to not even answer their questions when we realise (the experience with support takes a while, though) that some type of clients will never be satisfied or happy with a product nor service given.
This is the reason of a rating system, cos even when this type of client is sometimes out-of-logic or even agressive (or whatever), the true is that he is no happy with the product. If the product is good, and support is fine too, other good ratings will make that non-sense bad rate negligible.
Maybe the point here is that we are all used to excessive high rating average, being a such crowded marketplace.
Just my opinion…
Just discovered the huge Microlancer banner right below of our portfolios. Is this absolutely needed? I know you guys are trying to push hard the microlancer project, but sometimes looks like you are playing against us, and not with us. Bit disappointed.
I know that TF + Envato is right now a really complex site to display, but really, the new header is a big no-no, both from design perspective but most important, from user (usability) view. Apart from obvious aligment issues, it needs a deep re-think out there. Maybe a big meeting with blank papers and pencils, who knows… but i’m sure you will reach something satisfactory!
Step by step!
For those interested in this matter, read about Buckminster Fuller studies, half past century. It’s pretty interesting to see other kind of earth representation, it could change minds and opinions.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dymaxion_map
Look at the comparation (for example) between Europe and South America, both in this map and the default one we are used to see and think with.
Fall in love with someone you shouldn’t.
Great news. Thanks for the work.
I’m agree about not being public, but it would be nice if user id could be grabbed (sure it’s being, but just in case), cos it could serve as useful info in case of dispute. (cough) authors bad rating other authors (cough)
