You need to buy extended licence per item. So, for 1 themeforest item you need to buy 1 extended licence. You can read this in their item’s description..
Such a sad news. I’ll never forget his Peter Pan movie. R.I.P. legend!
Nice and educational video sfxstudio, thank for sharing it .
@diank123, nice presentation of Bulgaria.
You can use Revolution slider or Layout slider if you buy 1 extended licence per each item you release..
You should contact the author of that template. He will be able to help you..
I think that the biggest problem of that huge themes is that many users don’t know that they need one licence per clients, and to be honest some of them don’t care. They practically buy one theme for 30 clients that way… So it’s basically the same – purchasing 30 licences of different themes or 30 licences of huge themes.. If clients would be aware of that they need one licence for every client, sales of that huge themes would drastically decrease. Maybe I’m wrong but we had several inquires about licences and how many licences they need to buy…
Bottom line is that nothing is gonna change. Before there was a trend of 5 – 10000 home pages. We were all against it and nothing changed. Yes, this trend is even worse. But I’m afraid if we want to sell enough to make a normal living we’ll have to adapt as Envato won’t do anything about this. Really sad but true.
I don’t think that anything is about to change… 6 months ago one member posted possible marketplace design – you discussed it here already. I agree that it has flaws, but they could even consider it..
There are many people complaining here, but nothing has been changed so far. Why? In my opinion, it’s because there is no real competitor of Envato out there.. I think they just don’t understand that many of us aren’t just some freelancers, but have our own companies and trying to make a living, which is day by day harder. Many of those changes implemented so far are a bit funny and unprofessional for a company of that size..
There is more and more things we have to do as authors including support which is mandatory now (even if it’s stated it is not), and on the other hand, Envato doesn’t make not a single little change we asked for for years (functional search and better filters). It’s harder and harder to get that exposure for our items, and now it’s almost impossible. For what are we giving our 30% (and more) then?
yes you can edit theme after purchase. regular licence means that you can use the theme for yourself or one client. That means you can customize it the way you need but you can use it on only one domain. For example if you’d like to use the theme for two different clients or one client but for two different websites, you would need two regular licences. Hope this helps
