Still waiting on an official answer, again this is very important. We do have to follow our laws and with this changes we actually do not know how this affects our billing. This is urgent!

I think this question still waits for reply. And yes this is very important!

So, when you already locked the thread where we have concerns about taxes – VAT, can you respond here?? As other authors, we too really think that we need official response ASAP.

you will probably need to wait till Collis show up but he kinda answered something similar here

This split up in author fee and buyer fee has mainly tax and law reasons, right Collis?
Good question, definitely things like taxes and invoice follow the transaction flow, so you are right that there are some implications there. We’re actually working on improving our invoices and documents as they have some issues.
My knees just trembled some more :/

Ok to sum it up. Who is paying VAT – taxes here then? Question to Collis: What taxes – VAT are you going to pay? This is not a joke. We need to know who will be paying taxes as we run a company and the things are getting complicated here! We need official answer ASAP.

Now i have a really important question which can impact on every author here that lives in a country that has similar laws as our (which I think most of eu has)

If we how Creattive explains now sell directly to buyers, how does this effect on or laws? Meaning we have to issue an invoice to every buyer, because if we can issue refunds how can this be achieved?

If that is the case we for example can shut down our services cos we have to charge each and every customer differently, depending on were they are from, since we are obligated by VAT.

Something very scary and smelly is brewing up hear? It looks like envato wants to re-leave themselves from any responsibility towards buyers and eventually put everything into our hands?

Please can somebody elaborate on this? It is really disturbing me.

Yes, indeed… Didn’t think about it till now…

We have updated our latest PSD item. We also changed preview image, but when looking it in “Popluar files” section (when hovering item thumb) it still shows old preview image… We tried to clear the cache and it stays the same. Update has been approved about an hour ago. Could this be the reason we are still seeing old item preview image?

Hi,

you need to make a .zip with your item preview (image). For inserting images in item description you need to use HTML tags. Hope this helps :)
