“1* support but 5* item” – said no buyer ever.

I couldn’t see authors removing themes from here and not still trying to sell them elsewhere, either on their own or through another site, in which case, they would very likely still offer support as they did before.
My point is, once items are gone from TF, existing buyers will have no guarantees. Some authors could be selling all/part of their items elsewhere, others might not. On top of that, updates will have to be distributed manually.

Envato, what’s the answer regarding support, for themes/plugins us buyers have bought, if the seller now leaves envato marketplace due to this? .... It’s not an issue for after effects templates, audio files and photos, but it’s a big concern for Wordpress themes and plugins, which need to be updated w/current WP releases. What’s the policy? From a buyers’ standpoint, I’m now quite concerned about WP theme/plugin related support, since some authors may now leave envato; I’ve spent a lot of money on those, buying multiple licenses in some cases, what’s the situation now?
that’s a legitimate question since, as of now, authors can delete items anytime and are not (yet) obliged to offer free support. Would an author decide to delete his/her entire TF/CC portfolio due to the recent changes, buyers could be left with a bunch of unsupported items and there’s nothing envato could do about it.

Some authors could still offer free support for a limited time (6 months for us when we had to remove some WP conversions) but there are no guarantees at all.

I think Themewaves, asked clearly:

Is it possible to send via Withdrawal Page to another and also take my money?
and the answer was positive, so I thought too that it’s possible. Will see if anyone can share their experience on this.
You can send payments to your partners using multiple paypal/skrill transfers and get your cut via payoneer, example: 3 paypal, 2 skrill and 1 payo. What you can’t do is transfer money to multiple payo accounts, in this case you’ll have to withdraw the whole amount and use payoneer card-to-card service to transfer the share.

Hey guys.

Is it possible to send via Withdrawal Page to another and also take my money?

Example: I have 2 Partner (A THeme, B Theme). Both partnerships takes money from us and those 300$, 400$ we have 1500$ then can we split it via Withdraw page?

Thanks.

You should contact payoneer support about it. We have been using card-to-card transfers 4/5 times per month for the last 3 years (i just did one right now) so it’s definitely possible between Envato linked cards.

And will get free access/copy of our themes..
I hadn’t even considered this angle either, sounds like some ES authors will get quite the nice collection of free themes from TF :(

We actually had a customer write to us about paying for a “purchase & install” service on one of our themes from an author on Envato Studio. Later he wanted to get some support on the theme, but the Envato Studio author refused to give him the purchase code, because “there wasn’t any purchase code”. It appeared this Author was amassing a collection of themes during the provision of his service, charged subsequent customers for the purchase of that same theme but then just used the one from his collection and pocketed the theme price.

So, yeah, we’re with all the other authors who are delighted about Envato sending revenue away from their TF authors and over to the Studio gang.

+1 to the suggestion that authors should have the option of auto providing that install service to their customer, before they are sent away to a 3rd party.

You could use xml format instead of json to avoid the extra parsing
