It’s been discussed and resolved on this thread: http://videohive.net/forums/thread/about-new-vh-homepage-design/107055
I actually have noticed the same thing that recent submissions are growing in quality. There are few authors that are submitting their old portfolios and it doesn’t count really as those were created some time ago and we’re doing our best to accept only the best of their files, but when it comes to authors who submit their brand new created files I have to agree – the quality has gone up.
Reviewers are not allowed to discuss review related question with authors using their personal e-mail. There is a support system for that reason. It’s an official channel that should be used every time there is an issue. Your ticket will be assigned to appropriate staff to respond.
It might seam like a bureaucracy at first, but when you’re operating a community of nearly 3million members – it’s the only way to do it properly. So please don’t blame reviewer for not responding and wait for the support to deal with your case.
My front page looks like this
Looks like they are experimenting. As an author I’m not happy about this as the Following function now is destroyed completely. I’ve invested quite a lot of time to build my follower network and also I choose the authors whom to follow because i wanted to be notified on new designs they submit, but now it’s gone completely. At least in my version. Glad to see that others got different versions so at least the one I have might not be the final.
I didn’t know the old system (I’m a newbie). But to be honest the actual system is a little slow in my opinion. I mean, a entire week to review a project is too much time. But I know too that it’s in that way because the dailiy uploads must a lot. I hope the review system will be improved.
It takes minutes to review a project, but then multiply this by several thousand projects and you got the answer why it takes a week.
By the way: I found the Envato flickr stream last week and it was nice and fun to see the real people behind the avatars. Seeing those pictures you can almost feel how it is to be there Here it is, have fun: http://www.flickr.com/photos/we-are-envato/with/5803108675/
well, the Flickr only gives you insight in HQ staff leaving the remote team behind. The real place to see faces is here: http://www.envato.com/about/teams/marketplaces
I bet you could do it, only thing is Microlancer is still new and adding new kinds of services slowly. I doubt they are accepting video services at the moment. I know that authors grom Graphicriver does that so there shouldn’t be any issues just the fact that you have to wait for that kind of services being accepted on Microlancer. You should contact their team
