Me too. This is marketplace like any other and marketing strategies are the same everywhere. And theme about “misusing” of women in commercials is different topic totally.

BenSheppard I agree, I don’t like to see lot of icons in themes too and not just social icons. I would always prefer image instead of icon wherever it is possible.

I agree, that would be tasteless if it will become trend and 90% of themes would appear with that pictures. Maybe I look too much in corporate category and there are still just people in business suits.

Wonder am I missing something. I’ve never seen something that could be even close to porn in themes and that kind of images are certainly not allowed here. I agree with CLINE123 it is totally acceptable if the template is for fashion industry for example to have people as models. Maybe that is annoying for someone from conservative countries, I don’t know, but that’s how things work. I don’t have anything against fashion models in theme pictures, male of female. Personally I don’t like grotesque characters but if I see themes with them that sells well I could easily accept it as something that people love and start work that way.

First when I saw this theme I though it’s going to be about template’s functionality, not about preview pictures that are there just to gain attention.

Interesting discussion here 6 months ago. But today it is almost impossible to find new template that is not responsive.

So I was wondering what is your opinion today about responsive design, is it just a this year trend or it becomes standard that will stay for long time?

960 grid, but I don’t use it for simple projects.

Just an update: after 3 more soft rejections my template has been finally approved.
