Hey guys. Any idea if there is such things as a WP plugin for a foreign exchange business so that people can use their website to transfer money or calculate the transfer rate – something like http://www.westernunion.com.au/au/Home.page ?
Thanks

I just bought this theme from the forest and surprise surprise the theme-author seems to know very little about phpHey Razzc,
I’m sorry you feel dissapointed by the quality of replies you got, but can you not see how the quote above says – “I got a theme, & as usual ThemeForest authors don’t know PHP”
I think you might have wound most people up from there, hence the angry replies!
Incorrect! Read my original post again. It says ‘author’ NOT authors neither have I used terms such as as usual and everyone knew exactly what I was talking about it. Funny people are making things up. But like I said in my earlier post that quality of response I got reflects the quality of their mentality. They’re so super-intelligent like HRH Ben Shepperd who said He is looking for support, I wonder what makes him think I am a man?
People only read my criticism of this author and totally blind folded to all the good stuff I said about the theme.
@BenSheppard: When did I say other people don’t know things You are making things up. I was pretty specific in what I wrote. The original post is still there. You need to pull your head out of the sand dunes and do something more productive Ben. Getting a job would be good start.
@vntux:
Thanks for the offer. I have made a small financial offer. Please check your email

In fairness to everyone – when we all sign up for this marketplace it is stated that authors are not required to offer any form of support let alone customisation.
Granted many authors do offer generous support which no doubt really helps those less experienced. The authors deserve the respect for putting the work in to create the great files that people buy here. Without their skills many people would be left to have to try and build a site from scratch and I am sure that that would turn out far worse for them.
What it comes down to is that anyone who takes on paid client work, is the only person responsible for resolving any issues that they face whilst completing the project.
Either way you are getting the help you require to fix the problem, so problem sorted. Good luck with the rest of your project.
Thank You. I was just disappointed to get the quality of response from people. I asked for help. If they can, fine. If they can’t just leave people alone. I am pretty sure they must have plenty of time to themselves. Very unprofessional. I am glad I don’t have to work with some of them.

Please everyone calm down. He is talking about support, evanto support. not an author
Yes they’ll know what they’re doing, if you don’t trust them with the theme they made, hire someone to edit it
You seem to know a lot Ben!

“customization” and “my client” don’t go well in the same paragraph around here, unless they’re followed by “I have a budget for this”. Expertise for customizing a template isn’t priceless, it actually has a cost
Anyway, ask the devs at DOTPLUS to search for the page template being used there and then remove the <a> tag inside a <em>, inside a <li> with a class ofportfolio-item. That should do it.
Thanks for the effort digital impact.
I am a one man show. The ‘dev’ the salesman, the lot.
Looking at the GREAT response from SOME, I am pretty sure I am going empty-handed. I will try and look for that page template in question.
Thanks again.

Given that they built the theme (based on PHP code) that you purchased, it seems a bit unfair to suggest that they know “very little” about PHP.
That said something this straight forward I am surprised the author was not prepared to help you
Is this how authors put it. (May be these files: shortcodes/shortcodes.php, inc/related/related-portfolio.php…will fix the problem). Do you believe they know what they doing? Do you know on themefores largest sales figures come from best of supporters? I bet you don’t!

I just bought this theme from the forest and surprise surprise the theme-author seems to know very little about php and what goes under the boot. I bought it because it suited my client and I too liked the theme. It has some nice features and specially theme’s admin panel is cool.
I have manged to do most of customization myself but when it comes to getting to the codes in PHPs, I struggle like many others in my boat.
I was wondering if someone out there kindly help me with their priceless expertise. On the product page of this client of mine, http://www.australasiatextiles.com.au/products-2/ If you scroll down a bit you will come to the Gallery where there are all the thumbs. Right below every thumb there is the name of the category and that name is linked to some URL that I would like it to be unlinked.
Thank you everyone in advance.
Cheers, razzc.
