Hey everyone! I know that you were hoping for immediate action and I’m sorry that that’s not what you got. I did look into it and I think there’s potential, but we haven’t had time yet to really dig in deep or make actual changes. I know that this is important to you and that no one wants to feel like they’re being put on the back-burner. For that I’m sorry. I don’t have a date for you yet, but please know that I haven’t forgotten. Thanks for double checking either way!
Hi Lance, any update on low price issue for stock footage/motion graphics ? Any actions planned yet?Best Regards, Andrey
Single shot Espresso, Lavazza Qualità Oro. The way to go!
Edit: I was actually drinking one while i was writing this
I would like to bring some attention back to this topic after 11 months of silence. What happened here is that one of my favourite authors, Mwilson, decided to remove most of his clips from his exclusive portoflio.
Check by yourself, have a look at his porfolio. Remember the crazy dolly shot in the back seats of the car from window to window? I do, and it’s gone! It was a masterpiece of outstanding creativity and quality. Rare, very rare on this website. Now, in your opinion guys, why did he decide to remove entirely his videos from this marketplace? I would be glad to hear his response if he will ever read this, but I think we can find the reason in his first post of the thread when he talks about his pricing policy frustration.
Well, we have been talking for so long about stock footage pricing that I don’t want to repeat it again, but what happened here should be a clear warning for Envato in order to take some quick actions! A low pricing policy is what is keeping new authors away from this site, and apparently also the reason why some authors are deciding to leave! Envato can increase the quality standards in the reviewing process as much as they want and come up with the best ideas on this planet but still, oustanding filmmakers here are just a few and the rest are working somewhere else…
Any ideas to face this problem?
It took me 27 years to grow 3,5 hairs on my chest, I should have started growing moustaches in november 2012 for this contest!
September 2013 was my best month until yesterday when I got the sales I needed to make October my best month in terms of sales and revenue! I also received a shiny Black Paw I’m actually starting to believe that I could make a living out of Videohive if only I put more effort! Feeling motivated!
Yay! Just got a shiny brand new Black Paw in 14 months and 125 items! I actually can’t believe I’m making money online, until a couple of years ago I had no idea this was possible, so thanks Envato to give me the chance to change my life and do what I like the most!
or, you can buy 4K footage and crop it vertically
Yay!! We have a forum thread with 113 pages. Is this a record? I can’t believe we’ve had like 45,000 threads just on ThemeForest. Here’s what the forums used to look like back in 2006. Feels like yesterd… well actually no, not really … feels like 7 years ago
The Sales Monitor has already 363 pages
