15.000$ camera + helicopter + 13 stops dynamic range, superb overall quality that you can play on 2000$+ UHD Screen… and 55$ is expensive? 55$ it’s already a rip off, 30$...better if I shut my mouth! :) If I will ever own a Red, Videohive is going to be the last place where I’m going to upload my videos!

If you have uploaded a 1080 video, just simply customize it to 4k for your client, simple as that! Regarding the price, 30$ is too low, same as all the prices for stock footage in here.

Stable sales across February, surprisingly turned out 2nd best month in earnings despite the shorter month :)

Same here! I’ve noticed that weekends were really slow compared the rest of the weeks, Wednesdays were the most profitable days, I had one no sales day, maybe 2 (today :( ) but still a solid month despite the 28 days and the search bug!

I’m still not making a living out of Envato, but when I try to describe how this works I just say that I have an online shop open 24/7 12 months a year available to everyone in the world, where I sell my videos and timelapses…that’s it! In this way they understand what I do, but the most common question is: “Who the hell buys this kind of stuff?” I never knew how to answer this question and actually I don’t care as long as I sell ,but I’m dead curious to know who uses my art and how! :)

A question for you guys who have a P.Iva: Imagine you make enough money from Envato to choose to live wherever you want outside of Italy (I guess some of you do! :) ) is having a P.IVA the right choice to work and live abroad? Or do I have to open a sort of local p.iva? It’s obvious a P.IVA is required if you are a freelancer in Italy, but what if you are a freelancer who works around the world for years?

@LCweb, Having a bank account abroad it’s like being a traveller. I opened like 4 bank accounts in 4 different countries when i was working and travelling and Italy never asked me anything about it BUT, I don’t have a P.IVA so fisco have absolutely no idea of what I’m doing. What if you are a freelancer and travel/work around the world and never spend more than 1 month in the same country?
If you travel but your residence is in Italy, you should pay taxes in italy… if you are honest… but i guess being italian means everyone is smarter then all the others right? :|

Sure I’m honest, when I worked in Australia i paid local taxes and so I did when I worked in other countries. Now I’m in Italy but with the small amount of money I make from Envato I’m not even required to open a P.IVA yet, so for now I just put my envato savings in a foreign moneysaver :)

Ciao Ragazzi,

wouldn’t it be easier to open a bank account abroad and transfer money in there? I have a bank account in Singapore where I normally send my earnings every 5/6 months, never had any problem with that! Also opening an offshore company in places like Cayman Island would be great!

In the profile page: Please add some space between the profile image an the new View Portfolio button, in the way it is right now it’s way too squeezed. Also, changing the color of the button from grey to anything happier would be a great idea.
