6 months gone, no improvements in the wild. It’s way about time!

Thank you both, guys.Hm, so it’s equally frustrating for theme providers around here as well? What a bummer. Rough guess Envato is making enough cash-money with their things as are and won’t change a thing anytime soon…
Where’s the competition?Big plans are under way to greatly improve Marketplace functionality. An entirely new search will be a big part of those updates. Thanks!
Finally found something – thanks for your input!
Hello theme developers,
for the last week i’ve been clicking through hundrets of themes around here and would like to give a little feedback about my impression.
First and foremost, the amount of amazing themes is mind boggling! I’ve been tempted to hit that purchase button various times which already is a good thing. Unfortunately i didn’t yet. Why?
-Many themes are available up to Wordpress version 3.1-3.2 but there is often no statement about supporting 3.3 and further version updates.
-A felt number of 9 out of 10 themes aimed for blogs/portfolios lack support for post formats. Given the fact that creative people by nature will most likely be avid Youtube, Vimeo & flickr users i imagine it’s a very sought after feature. That’s why many creatives choose Wordpress for their portfolios but still have a Tumblr-account. Silly, eh?
-Support for custom post types means that – if you already have a site with lots of content (like in my case) – the user has to migrate posts from i.e. a category to a custom post type. I’ve seen countless amazing theme related options but never anything that would make the end-users life a bit easier in this regard.
Hope you can gain something from my impressions – keep up the good quality!
Cheers Ronny

Where’s the competition?
I’m currently looking for a premium theme that is good at the discipline of being a portfolio but isn’t shorthanded on the blog-side. After spending all day around here i finally give up. I stumbled upon many awesome themes with lots of options, but most of them were only powerful Portfolios while suffering at the blog counterpart.
If you are a theme developer with something in your portfolio that fits these needs:
-full support for post formats -a few templates for standard posts -the usual shortcodes -configurable portfolio section -2 columns preferred -social network timeline would be awesome.
Please, please – contact me. Very sorry, but given the sheer amount of themes available, the browsing and filtering possibilities at this marketplace are simply poor. Or i wasn’t lucky enough finding what i’m looking for.
In hope for positive feedback Ronny
