I’m working on a hosted e-commerce service and my design skills always leave something to be desired. The site will be built on Node.js using an alternate version of plum.shop, the shopping cart script that’s being sold on CodeCanyon.
What I need is someone who can come on the team as a designer for the main site, back-end administration panel for individual stores, a default front-end theme for the stores, and updates to keep everything fresh. I’ll be providing all development and maintenance, both on the client and server side, so I need a designer who can be completely focused on making gorgeous materials for the site.
This is a monthly subscription service, with memberships starting at $30 per month. You’ll be an equal-share partner, and as such will be paid according to the revenue that the site brings in.
If you’re interested or have any questions, send a letter to elia at jivallo dot com. Please give some examples of your work; you don’t need to have any full sites available, but what you do have should give me a sound confidence that you’re capable of delivering what’s demanded of this site.
While I don’t see a huge benefit in a top buyers page, especially when there are more pressing issues, it’s not like having one would invade anyone’s privacy. Because we have badges with alt and title attributes, search engines already make that data available to the public. It’s easy enough to grab a list of almost 50 people who have purchased more than 500 items.
Did I miss something? I’ve been using FF15 since FF14 came out with no problems. There was a small annoyance about character encoding in Firebug, but that was me being lazy and ignoring setting an encoding for HTML pages.

It doesn’t exactly say in the terms that you can’t withdraw deposits, but it does say so on the withdrawal page: “You are only able to withdraw earnings.”
It’s a cool idea, but I can’t help but wonder, what item is featured while under the “All” category (i.e., when a visitor first arrives on the site)? Is that item more featured than those that are featured items in actual categories?
I don’t see any problem with that. This is just their way to show that a button is highlighted.
I believe he’s taking about the graphic icon to the left of the window, not the buttons. Unless that graphic is meant to be standing on the edge of the green “person,” the reflection shouldn’t look like that.
$result = $db->query($query);, to what is $db referring? I’d suggest adding a private variable $db to your house class, then setting
$this->db = new database(); and
$this->db->dbConnect();. You can then use
If you want to go further, I would instead extend the MySQLi class with your database class.
