aw that is lame! I saw the video of the editor about a month ago and it reminded me of far crys editor. Just drag and drop basically. I’ve been playing the multiplayer demo that came out a couple days ago and while the graphics look nice, the game play is meh..I am more interested in the single player campaign

I have a mobile web app that has a list of m4v videos. I am using the meta tag that removes the address bar. On the iPhone, when I click on the m4v, it opens in the native player and I can hit the “Done” button and takes me back to the page.

On the iPad, when I click on the video, the screen goes black and begins playing. I can scroll the video as if it was embedded on a page. If I full screen the video, the native player takes over and when I hit the “Done” button, it just takes me back to the video embedded in the web page. I have no way of going BACK on the iPad.

The links link directly to the m4v file. What am I missing??

hmm weird… set a RewriteBase:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
and make sure your file IS there! Maybe it is wrong spelled or something

the RewriteBase fixed it! You’re awesome man thanks!

well the rewrite rule is working. It is pointing to fileserve.php as you can see in the 404 error, it is just saying it doesn’t exist even though it is there. I tried escaping the period but that didn’t make any difference :(

I am trying to fix up the url so it looks like: http://mysite.com/videos/xxxx.m4v

Options +FollowSymlinks
RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^videos/([^/]+).m4v fileserve.php?id=$1

When I go to http://mysite.com/videos/1.m4v, I get a 404 not found:

The requested URL /mnt/stor2-wc1-dfw1/xxxxx/mysite.com/web/content/fileserve.php was not found on this server.

fileserve.php is definitely there so I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

I just noticed one of my files is the “top rated” file on AD with only 57 sales…weird

http://activeden.net/category/all?sort_by=average_rating&type=files&page=1&categories=all

You’d think a file with many sales would be up there rather than that file, no?
