I’m trying to use as little as possible on mastering. Through experience (and some tutorials on YT) I’ve learned that mix is the key. Each track should be carefully EQ and leveled. Good near field monitors are quite important. Right balance of FX and try to use bus effects rather than throwing different reverbs / delays per track make mix sound more consistent and at the master track just bit of compression / limiting, eq should be enough. And one more important thing for me – do the mastering as last … even after few days – your ear need to be “fresh” – that’s why each track take so long time if you want this to sound as good as you can make it. Ideally would be if someone else do the master.

I don’t think there is a rule. Just use your ears. If it sounds better with compressor per track / instrument or master – use it.

Hi guys, Recently I got myself an 35mm prime lens for my Nikon D3200 DSLR camera – will it be good enough to record stock footage / time lapse materials ?

Thanks

Hi, I’m trying to find a photo / graphic / render that shows some contemporary furnishing and white wall where I could “photoshop” in my wife painting for her new website.

Thanks – Matt.

5 in here – clear sign that music makes small money for Envato – they would put more resources.
You think they should’ve hired santas little helpers to deal with christmas submissions faster?

I didn’t before, but now you put that thought in to my mind and I think now :) You’ve ruined my Christmas :)

Hahah, killer bass on my standard stereo speakers :)

Cheers – I hope in a good way.

I’m asking this because recently I got myself Wharfdale 8.2, and still didn’t have time to learn them.

... bass / low frequencies ? https://soundcloud.com/rt-of-venture/positive-commercial-3-preview

It’s still waiting for review, but I thinking of withdrawing this and remaster again.

Cheers
Doesn’t sound like it to me…but at the moment not listening on the greatest system. It’s sounds pretty cool :)

Ok – that’s mean those crappy earphones I have at work give too much bass. Let’s wait for reviewers ear to digest that :-)

Thanks mate.
