I think maybe not its Adobe it’ll improve? I hope so anyway, they cant keep ignoring the problem!!!

I do think Adobe will improve Flash for OS X , but where they’ll go with SVG and Flash? Who knows. SVG was supposed to be the ‘Flash Killer’ that Adobe were pushing and now Adobe owns both!

Photoshop always felt more solid and native on OS X than on Windows. I hope one day Flash feels as good as Photoshop does.

I’ve always said that Macromedia never took OS X seriously as a platform (because of incompetence rather than any other reason). When I moved to Mac and realised that their products sucked incredibly on OS X I just stopped using their products :) Obviously not everyone can do this.

Thankfully though you can write ActionScript externally to the actual Flash IDE nowdays so that’s not so much a problem for developers on OS X , but for designers, it’s pretty tough.

I’d say the FlashPlayer may be faster on the Intel Macs, and if so in 12 months time it’ll be a non-issue. I’ve got a friend with an Intel Mac so next time I see him I’ll sus it out.

I have to say to don’t really like Mac’s when it come to Web developing :(

By ‘Web Developing’ you mean ‘Working in Macromedia Products’ then yes. The other 95% of ‘Web Developing’ I’d say OS X is the platform with all the benefits. :)
