Are you looking for a web designer or web developer ?! First you’ve mentioned that you’re looking for a designer then you said that he has to know HTML5, jqyery, CSS3, bootstrap.

Well if you want to be sure before start coding you can give it a try in PSD Category, then if it’s approved you can go further with HTML version.

If everything will be good with code there’s no reason to reject this template, it looks awesome and I’m pretty sure it will be approved in terms of design and visual hierarchy. Just make sure you add a tons of features! by providing lot of options, lot of inner pages, different ways to show portfolio, blog posts, homepage designs etc. Also leave enough place for a Cart and other elements that are related with e-shop, just in case you decide later to make it with e-commerce.

If you can provide also LESS files for styling, it will get much sales for sure.

Good luck :)

Hi Chirs,

I’m not an experienced developer however I think there’s no problem if you’ll add also Sass in HTML templates. Sass it’s just an extra option for the buyer if he find it useful for his template, if not then he can simply delete sass files (he already has a css stylesheet file compiled by sass).

My suggestion it’s to use LESS instead of SASS, I’ve heard people find more useful by using Less.

This would be a VERY VERY BAD idea, authors from low-paid countries will start selling themes for $10 and will ruin the whole marketplace
Yup, this is the exactly what happened when the app store first launched, I don’t think it’d be much different here.
If it works for Creative Market that sells the same kind of products we do, why can’t for us?

Who said you that it’s working well for CM authors? Have you checked some of WordPress theme prices ? In CM You can buy a WordPress theme for $15 or another one that will cost $149. Recently I saw a bundle with 5 wordpress themes for a $29 price. By allowing us to decide for prices that will destroy the whole market faster than you think. Even by allowing a min. and max. level won’t work well. Some authors from India or from my country will set a price to $10 for a theme and they’ll still earn enough for living, while if would do that people from UK or USA won’t be able to pay even their bills.

+1 for BAD IDEA !

just make that .txt file to .html or .pdf and will do the trick. (it’s much easy for buyer to click on link directly on that file, if that’s simple text file they have to copy that url and then paste it on browser). If you still have troubles with that let me know via profile and I’ll send you my documentation.

Also you can add some hints for buyers with screenshots (ex. telling them if there’s any hidden layer, hover effect for buttons etc. something that you’d consider important to know when working with your PSDs).

Why not adding more informations, in this way you’ll save your time and others time.

Before I contact you I would like to know: -What kind of PSD templates you’re looking for, any niche template or multi-purpose ? -What would be the price that you really can afford, you know some limits up to $x ? -What would be the benefit for us while we create PSD for someone when we can upload it in our account ? -How would be decided for the price, when I’ll be paid and what if PSD gets rejected for whatever reason, all that work goes down ? -Any other informations that you’d consider important before dealing with any designer..

Thanks Salih

NO! you can’t do that. Only if PSD owner agrees that you will develop it to HTML or whatever. Usually deals like that can cost you up to $1000 or even more. However, here are lot of authors that now about web design but they don’t know about web development so you can create collaboration by sharing profits with each other.
