Make a root folder called “main_files” , inside make this folders : Documentation, Sample Data (Opcional), Theme .
So put the doc on the doc folder, if you want to put the demo data do it, and your theme in the theme folder. So you upload the main_files folder & the screenshots folder.
Very thanks manuelvega this is helpful information .
any help to how Organization file when upload wordpress theme to themeforest
Creativeartlab saidThank you, but i send the documentation with theme and i but it in Main File(s) uploaded and this mesaage from themeforest mean they can’t view documention
You are lucky you got soft rejected and that easy to get pass you need to make documentation for help customers how to set up the theme
the feedback from themeforest Review team on why it couldn’t be accepted: 1. This file does not contain an adequate help documentation and it cannot be approved at this time.
1.Please provide a more accurate information about how to set up your theme like the preview. Provide screenshots and/or short video screencasts (Screenr, YouTube, etc) 2. Make sure your file description includes: – An accurate description of how editable or customizable the file is, credits and more information. It is helpful to the buyers to describe the level of editability and what is provided . – Any elements that occur in the preview but are NOT in the download. – Any outside assets, fonts, or resources used.
im do that befor get this message - i but the documentation files in Main File(s) uploaded 2- i but description file in Theme Preview uploaded with screenshoot is this right way or this message mean need more information about documentation and file description.
