we are fighting over how items are to be called. what about fixing preview quality once and for all? I think this is way more important than having HD or 4K in the title. people start using these words because the search sucks. They try to show up in search that’s all. Let them do it or fix the search.

Exactly it is all about the search, and as I said yesterday vain talk because even today they have entered and been accepted projects with the words “forbidden only for some”.

How about the search item? It is a project with loop, 4k, etc. in the title better indexed???

If it is not important why you rejected? :)

The titles have been fixed, thanks for bringing them to our attention. As stated earlier, shot descriptors, resolution descriptors or technical attributes such as “close up”, “dolly”, “macro”, “loop” “4K”, “HD”, etc. are not permissible in the titles.

Instead, they should be placed in the item description and/or tags.

Sometimes things like this do slip through (we aren’t robots, which might surprise a lot of you!), but part of our job as reviewers is to educate authors on what we are and aren’t accepting so that these sorts of things happen less frequently.

I appreciate your response from that of KingDog, which is clearly superficial. But that’s not solving the problem the you’ve changed two titles, therefore I did not want to give concrete examples. Resolving is simple if Envato reviewers have same rules all of them this rule that you say “resolution descriptors or technical attributes Such as” close up ”,” dolly ”,” macro ”,” loop ”,” 4K ”,” HD ”, etc.. Has not permissible in the titles.” Not have to be a robot to follow the rules.

dorut has the right and I thank him for that.

Rules are rules and should be respected by all envato reviewers and applied to all authors. You can educate authors by equal application of the rules to everyone. What have you done now is not solving the problem, changing that 2 titles from the examples that i have sent you, because there are a lot more. MAKE RULES – TELL US THE RULES (UPDATED) – APPLY FAIR RULES. Thank you very much.

Please remember that the Marketplaces are always evolving and what was an accepted practice last year may no longer be accepted today. You can’t look at what was approved before a new requirement came into place as a basis for allowing your current item to go against that requirement. Thanks!

@KingDog, do you ever go through the posts completely? The links showed in the original posts are not old items. Those are dated FEB 2014.

We are tired of looking template answers from staffs.

Thanks VF you understand correctly. And it is damn frustrating for someone who works the rules is not the same for everyone and see that what is forbidden to you today, tomorrow someone else is approved. That’s not ok. I REPEAT ANOTHER TIME “I understand this “as it did not meet our minimum requirements for quality and/or marketplace policies” rejection, but this is a RULE it is for all or not? A rule is strict, not like a quality aspects review.”

You didn’t understand me… My project was rejected on this reason a few days ago “you can t use “loop” and “4K” in the title… and AFTER THAT other projects were ACCEPTED with “loop” and “4K” in the title. THIS IS THE BIG PROBLEM. Is this ok? I’m not talking about things that were happening old time ago. I am talking about the present. One has to follow the rules and others do not?
