I’m not 100% sure about this, but I think you can use it. You can’t just click on Bach’s page and buy a license for his songs. :P

We have to act for a better ActiveDen!

Flash is much better than WordPress! Authors have more freedom. Flash is capable to do things that WordPress will never be, the possibilities are endless. With all the movements, transitions, 3d and multimedia effects flash is the future of web designing.

Lot of junk is approved here, and it floods the site. I can see every day new files with dancing cucumbers, exploding frogs etc, and it’s all funny, but messes everything up.

Please, staff, do something. As sooner, as better, before it’s late.

I have a question. I’ve been looking around the web but couldn’t find an answer so I’m gonna ask it here.

Isn’t there a “scale mode” property for movie clips, that works the same as on stage? At stage by setting the stage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.NO_SCALE; everything will keep its original size after resizing the stage.

At movieclips if I resize the parent movieclip, it will take effect on every child mc. This is what I would like to avoid (just like at stage with NO_SCALE). I want a parent movie clip which resize won’t have effect on children.

Is there a way to make this? How do you guys reach this?

Well ,I think only if you use the full Tween function, if it’s a basic Tween and not a complex project caurina will do it but many will say its not fast like gs or Tweensy but trust me you wont see the deference(just the 11kb).

By far today the best Tween engine is Gs but you need a licenses to resell it and its update on a regular base give you some advantage on the develop.

The free alternative is Tweensy very easy to use, personal i use it for some time and my own Scorp3D engine , also Shane McCartney(Tweensy) bitmap/bizzzzzarre class is really amazing and simple.

It’s amazing but just browse the web everyone make today there on Tween engine and offer it for free

Thank you very much for this detailed guide, tsafi. :)

What about caurina? Is that allowed?
yes its allowed but caurina is a dead project there is no more developing for caurina/Tweener

I didn’t really used tweeners like this since now. Now I needed for a project(AS3), I’ve started using caurina. What do you suggest? Should I start everything from the beginning? :P Which one do you recommend?

Thanks

Totally agree with Chuck~

It’s really sad what’s happening here. I wouldn’t like to blame anyone, but to be honest, the review process is critical. There are plenty of broken previews. The site looks the same for days (only a few posts on the forum section).

I’m member since 2008 and all I can see is a massive downgrade. I really hope this state will change.
