I hate dubstep in general. It’s bland and uninspiring and very very samey with no imagination. Not as exciting as drum and bass used to be. I find it extraordinary that so many musicians are obsessed with it.

I used to have very similar viewpoint, especially coming from the realms of dnb production back in the late 90s. But I’ve discovered there are indeed highly creative Dubstep producers out there that just don’t get the same limelight that the more mainstream Skrillexes of the world seem to get.

I highly recommend checking this guy below Marb. Despite being a promo for Ableton, I suspect you may find it quite eye opening, especially with your knowledge in sound design and sound effects. His name is Ben Lucas Boysen from Berlin and works under the name Hecq, producing Dubstep for the most part. He’s a very talented chappie, with a great deal of creativity and imagination.

4. You have two options in blue (download and edit) click the download button and it will select your zip file, save as.
