We use zendesk more than 8 month. As this is the best system to use. Envato may use some kind of api or bussiness with Zend desk to manage.
We reply our ticket via email , which zend desk show as threaded . Which help our staff to read old message.
They most important issue arise in support that author must able to put there terms and condition in support system. Because we never give a item support life time.
It can be done who are so rich like apple
So there must be a policy if you apply support. it must be a time limit. Buyer can rate a theme there must be a time.
After one years they migrate there site to new hosting , problem arise they want support. which is not possible for us to give. As one year before we gave free installation. It is not our duty to give support for there hosting.
- most important issue is that they use the them in one domain after 4-5 month later want to use same theme in other domain by disable old domain. Now want support so what’s now.
**There must be a rules that author will give only one domain support for single licence.
- Some time buyer want to fix there theme issue , and force module developer to fix there theme’s bad coding. For that they threaded to give bad ratting and made harassment to the author this kind of issue need to solved.
- They may be a system where author can approve the refund of a product. If the buyer do not satisfied with author withing few days of purchase with there product.
- If the buyer got refunded there comment and ratting must delete from item.
We all time committed our customer for support. and try our best. But we have also a costing and over all we need to live with the income. If support abuse increase sale.
And envato income is not big than freelancing so, it will be good for some one to do freelancing $20-$30 per hours. rather give couple of hours support for a item $14 after commission.

I am looking different solution than theme name. If we change theme name right now. It will not a issue for new Buyer . But it affected old customer.
I have found some issue. Is any one of you face this kind of strange behavior about update theme. I have put this in my wordpress theme’s style.css file.

The main problem is that , wordpress show, update of our theme, but that comes from wordrpess repository. That theme name also Restaurant. Buyer update the theme and there site is gone.
Not sure why this happen. After update the theme url in several month before it do not show the update from wp repository. But from some month this issue happen.
Can any one have this solution ?
As a developer you can’t told your item is 100% bug free. There must be bug. Which you and your team may not found , until it goes to client end.
This is a part of the development. Microsoft windows also have bug, is any one know to stop using Windows.
Some days ago there is some security hole in apple cloud , will all people stop to use apple cloud.
Or People will find a solution how to block the hole and hacking.
Themepunch did a great job in there slider. We must appreciate them for there great work the no #1 wordpress plugin in slider. Which made our life easier.
We all need to take this is a normal situation. No one put any security hole in there plugin. Wordpress , Joomla also have security hole in there CMS,. unless those are open
For this we need to update slider revolution lower than 4.1.4 and use our slider revolution without any doubt.

We used zend desk from this year and it help us fine. We anser all the ticket within 6 hours time. The main issue is that. Some people report some issue which is not related to theme (ex : Prestashop ) , there is some default behaviour on CMS. theme developer only wrap there design on CMS.
Some buyer asked to do customization help, even they break the site and design with there customization. Open 10-20 question about usage customization. We have helped then when we have few ticket .
But when we have lots of other buyer ticket at that time it is not possible to help our side of theme related issue.
At that time buyer made so much problem , post bad comment on forum , give bad ratting.
Once we help them for that out site issue. They give good ratting. After some some they send lots of issue for there customization , if we told that it is not possible for us to give support our side theme related issue. They again change there ratting
Last , but not last , we all have to maintain our family and living with this. If support costing increase , it will difficult for any individual developer to maintain there development costing ans support.
Sale a theme $65 and give support for there customization around 2-3 hours to fixing there issue is not possible for author to maintain the ratting.
There must be a way where author can reply the ratting .
