I love the slider…
theres just so much white in the page.. maybe the hovers over the pics can be in color..
the top part (logo and search) looks just like the twenty eleven theme..
Hello, The slider looks more like a banner than a slider, think big, see the other themes with sliders.. I have to say the sliders usually are the thing that calls me to click on a preview or to discover more..
The footer seems to come after a disruption of the page, like a lonely island.. drifting… sorry.. Try giving it a different background.. and the twitter feed is bleeding to the left of the sidebar background.. (on top of it)
I realize now what you did with the footer, youre trying to imitate the gap between slider and content.. having them match…
Dont know.. S.
Hi Pete, I looked under the Wordpress category, then searched for Warp.. two themes came up,
Dryer by webthemer and Metro.press by se3ker
I know author arrowthemes uses Warp (for joomla) and his creations are top notch and good sellers.. but then elite author hogash uses gantry (joomla) and his templates are gold too!..
Hope this helps… Sol
@SolyBarr… Did you find any information on this? ha. I had the same question. Do you know if I can sell a theme on Themeforest while using the WARP framework? Is this legal?
Hi, no one gave a reply.. there are a lot of templates (for joomla) based on either Gantry or Warp.. some with T3… I havent researched Wordpress themes here to see if they use the frameworks as there are so many..
Yes it is legal, as the frameworks I believe are open source.. Gantry’s license http://www.gantry-framework.org/documentation/joomla/basics/license-and-usage
For Warp, the site says “The Master theme is GPL licensed like other popular open source software such as Joomla and WordPress. It means you are free to modify and redistribute your own custom theme with the same license. What are you waiting for, just head over to our downloads and enjoy working with our Warp Master theme!” S.
Skye and Gabriella are gorgeous, maybe bump the dog rehoming and cat rehoming up
Congratulations! may you get many many sales!
These are just ideas… nothing more nothing less..
idea 1.. Have you thought of putting that contact form as a dropdown slide from the Menu bar , instead of having it float from nowhere.. I honestly didnt know what that + sign was.. I clicked it to test it..
idea 2 How about a simple heading “Coming Soon” in a larger font instead of all this text “You can put your coming soon message here, with some hightlighted content”
Remember, version control is your friend… It seems almost ready.. the black box is bothering me… maybe something more stylish.. rounded corners, some transparency???
Just my input.. Regards, S.
