Ah.. my first thought at a glance, was that the sidebar styles (the lines below the headings) are confusing (because they are so similar to the content headings)

The footer.. maybe something that separates the headings from the content.. the Calendar for example and August.. are in the same font and it confuses my eyes..

and the footer seems crowded. the three little modules seem to be fighting for air..

Just my 2 cents..

hope it helps… anyone? designers? help! :)

Im not certain programmers and designers will ever reach an agreement in this.. We both have valuable skills and work hard (very hard) to get the product out..

As a dev, my worry is I will always have to support the product.. and when new versions of the CMS come out I have to make sure its compatible.. and there are always X plugins that crash with my product.. It feels never-ending.. I think perhaps thats why we feel 50% is too low..

However it has been mentioned (in this thread) that support is not that difficult.. But I wonder, what about the people at Kriesi or Template Square that have SO many sales.. they need support staff, and that ($$) has to come out of those earnings.. 50 % of already 50% you split with Envato.. [Yes Im thinking big! lol]

But I digress… we ALL have unique talents and skills.. and we should respect that!

have a great day… Sunshine

Try searching in the forum for “demo options panel”

Theres an old post with this reply “You could also integrate with a pre-made options panel like OptionTree http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/option-tree/"

Someone else says… “This post should get you going (ThemeBlvd Hooks it up): http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/stylesheet-switcher-for-wordpress/35461?page=1 Also, there is a stylesheet switcher available on code canyon if you need more documentation. At $4, can’t really go wrong if you need additional help. http://codecanyon.net/item/css-style-switcher/150156"

Hope it helps. I know the moment you are looking you never find it, then when you are not looking for it, you find it.. :) S.

The author of the template says below the info they’ll supply support via the comment section of the page, http://wplift.com/busby-free-wordpress-personal-blog-theme

Maybe the framework itself has a FAQ or support forum for devs.. here is the link http://liftux.github.com/UpThemes-Framework/

(I found this while following the links you gave, Ive never heard of this framework)

@solybarr, Im not a designer too. I agree with you about yellow color. Atcually im thinking to change footer area completely. Thank you so much for your comment.

@doubleF, Hi, Nobody like the footer area, i’ll change it immediately. :) And i’ll change the size of titles. Thanks for your advices.

Btw, the theme is rejected for some reasons. The most important reason is uniqueness.

I home, with your advices/comments im gonna create a better theme.

You are welcome! Im still not ready to post mine for critique here.. and maybe only AFTER rejection :) Regards, S.

Nothing? lol, is it because of the weekend?.. no one has anything to say about this topic? :( Was it in the wrong section, maybe?

Allright, I guess I’ll have to brave it on my own!

Hi, Chang, I love the colors, the header area is great..

Underneath.. the 4 boxes..are too close together and they are all different ??(so it seems to me) . If you want to showcase the different styles the user would be able to use with your template, you can do it in another page (Features, or styles)..

Same thing in the area below where it says “business website theme” that little module doesnt have a background, then the others do.. in odd shaped boxes..

I hope more people give advice regarding this template.. I too am a developer and its not as easy for us!..

Keep submitting! you’ll get there! Regards, Sol
