Thanks for the input guys!! Thats the reason people have 2 accounts here, one for exclusive and other non-exclusive.
I am an exclusive author at audio jungle. I have not yet put some of my very best songs for licensing here on audiojungle, because they are being sold on iTunes and Amazon cdbaby etc. but they are not licensed anywhere. I would like to ask a simple question :
Can Exclusive Authors ‘Licence’ their music via Audio Jungle and also sell the same songs for personal listening/use via iTunes/Amazon/Cdbaby Etc. Can someone help me in this?
I think Advert/corporate etc categories, can be little confusing for the end user/buyer. Though a certain – inspirational, positive, happy kind of music works for these categories, but branding a music as a corporate or advert can be misleading misleading and does not convey right information which buyer is looking for.
I think music should be best categorized by the mood it conveys and then the genre. I like the way allmusic categorizes music with mood. That can help the buyer figure out correctly whats the best music in that particular mood, that will go with their presentation or ad.
for e.g : Acoustic music can be sad, happy, dreamy. but normally when then ad agencies are looking for music, they would like to search for happy music and then some people have in mind the kind of genre they want to go with. Acoustic or Hip-hop or whatever. what do you think?
Amazing!! I just saw this. Lets see If I will be able to complete this!!
Congrats guys!! I am just starting out. Got my first file approved this week!! already made 2 sales, feels good!!
kristopherfisheraudio saidI try to keep it my best seller, as I believe sales generate sales ( ooo look it’s his best selling track, it must be good) and it does just keep selling whilst it’s featured on my page. Coincidence, I think not! (maybe ;))
So I just got my latest track approved and up for sale, but my music pack is doing really well, I have sold 9 of them so far in 2 weeks and it is currently my featured file. Do you think I should change this to the new item or let things be? Do you always put your latest track as your featured item?
I think thats a great strategy. Will see once I have some 10 tracks up!! cheers!!
