Looks neat ! (although I don`t see it as a big change)
Customers are generally anyone from the world. It could be an individual , or a person working for a company. Usually companies pay really well (for a real license /right to use).
They use the footage for individual projects or for film/commercial//advertising/documentaries etc. It could be anything.
Just look at others’ work and try to shoot anything that you think it might look good on tv !
I hope that answered your questions !
So I am reading the new fee table and it says :
Non-Exclusive Author Fee 55% Exclusive Author Fee 12.5 – 37.5%
So , since I am exclusive the fee should be 12.5 – 37.5% .
Can someone explain why the commission/fee is 43 % ?
As far as I know , it used to be 50/50, (whenever someone new started as an author) . With every $ 3750 in sales you would diminish the commission by 1%.
I`d appreciate if someone could clear this out for me why the Exclusive Author Fee 12.5 – 37.5% is actually not what it says on the statements.
Thanks in advance.
