I suggest to make reviews public as well as a reply option for authors (also public)

Airbnb does that well. See example

@enabled If you look at 90% of themes here, all are making their reviews public. That means most of the authors support publicizing Reviews. Another face is that, nobody shows their one star rating publicly.

So, the problem is only for communicating on ratings, not making reviews public.

Also, If you remember, I have created another App Called Better Envato for Authors. But its not yet available in the Extras Page. I have submitted the form sometime ago. Can you make sure it is listed on that page?

So you have created a CMS without DB.

Same like http://getkirby.com/ or http://anchorcms.com/ or http://statamic.com/

And you are asking whether its legal to Sell an HTML template that includes this CMS. So that its easy for End users to customize.

Only Envato staff should be able to give a proper reply. I’ve flagged this for staff.

You mean without the API? Just check the category breadcrumb for the string “WordPress”. Is that what you mean?

Yeah.. That’s little weird. So I used the Official Way (The API way) to get that. So I was asking whether my entry is valid for the contest. He told I’m not.

Hey,

I think adding an alert of some sort above comments would make a good addition, since a lot of customers come and write comments in the item comment area rather than going to the support tab. We’ve been using a help desk for support and there is always the problem that customers keep writing in comments to get support.

A box just above the comment area (maybe only if you bought the item) alerting that if you need support there is a support tab, don’t write in comments or if an external link is provided automatically send the customer to the right place.

or disable the comment area if purchased and redirect them to support. or if they want to praise the author, then redirect to ratings.

And the ratings should be public, most will purchase based on other buyers opinion. Also they can ignore any 1 star rating because of useless reason.

@billyf The Contact form is moved to a Popup. If we click Contact Author, It will open a Popup.

btw, I have a doubt, how should I know which Support pack they have purchased if sent through email ?

Once they got our email, they will use their email to send new requests. Only the first time they will use Support Tab. So if we keep on sending emails, how do I know whether his plan expired or not?

Ha ha.. Sales will no negative if we choose to give away free for those who downloaded illegally. :)

Great update.

Is there any option for Authors to Opt-in for an Inbuilt Support System inside the marketplace? Where people can post questions inside the support Tab ?

Also, If there are many FAQs, it would be difficult to see all, so, an option to Collapse FAQ would be useful.

Lastly, I’ve set an Automatic reply from my email. But it goes to bounce-md_30000325.555d77e0.....@mandrillapp.com Automatic reply works fine when emailed from Profile Page, but not from Support Page? Any fix for that?
